"We went into the Dining area and it smelled very very strongly of some type of Chemical and I said as much to the 3 people who were milling around the desk...I said to them gee it really stinks in here and they said no it doesn't smell at all...so we decided to sit outside instead of being assailed by this horrible chemical smell...I went back in to get a drink and there was this staff member spraying that awful smelling stuff all around the Restuarant...it must have been some sort of deodorant but the smell was sickening particularly since we would be eating in there..the food was very very poor for the price...and the staff standoffish and all in all I will not be back anytime soon..."

"Went as a group of friends for dinner. Recommended by locals. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Older style pub tastefully refurbished in the dining area, with additional more modern eating space as well. Bar area is typical country pub. Very helpful staff for dietary requirements with great GF options.My steak was much better than several I have had at supposedly more upmarket hotel chain meals. Would recommend"
