The service is causal this is not the place for a quick taco. This is...Mexico, and this is not a high volume place. Very pleasant recorded music, favoring jazz. "I thought this was just a bar, but I was blown away when we ate dinner here. I don't frequent many "fancy" restaurants, but we had this 14 course meal with each course looking like a work of art - I absolutely loved the experience. Jason was a very gracious host and I love how he put this restaurant/bar together. He also has his own Mezcal (technically Agave Distillates) house label from producers he hand-picked. The decorations in this establishment are also awesome. Highly recommend it!"

"We wanted to eat somewhere and decided that we wanted something that was local and happened to come past this place. the owner was very friendly and chatting. the food was decent and there was more than enough to eat (I could not really finish...min) the tortillas were fresh and very nice, but fill. we stayed for a few beers and mezcals after that, as this bar overlooks the park and there was a market this day. our bill at the end was ridiculously cheap. all in all a great choice!"

"We stopped to breakfast and the food and service was amazing. we ordered the chilequiles and entomatadas, and both were great, but the chilequiles really bleeded us away. we also have a plate of obstinate that tasted so fresh. highly recommended!"
