"We ate here with our friends, who live locally, on the last evening of our stay. The espetadas were tender and very good and recommended by our friends who eat here fairly regularly. We tried the house special poncha and the traditional poncha, both of...which were excellent. The salad was fresh and the potatoes coated in cornflour and fried were very tasty. We would have visited again, in daytime to see the view, but sadly we had to leave Madeira the next day. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Madeira"

"Visited with my friend at 20.30 a.m. after we checked into our hotel. we have scanned ta quickly to see what was available and this place came up. host spoke English, which was very helpful. Eat was great: I had a small steak and she had carbonara. both very tasty and steak was cooked in a beautiful sauce. both had some local cake after that, also great. after both had guessed the bill, it came back under what we had expected to get around €8! in any case later in our vacation."
