"Quaint little place down in cheddar just off the beaten track, really nice food after a long cold walk around the reservoir, great tasting pie, on mash and veg perfectly cooked and loads of it, great little atmosphere, staff very friendly will definitely return."

"Rude owner I ordered fish and chips for my wife and me And chicken burgers and chips for my daughters Ours came out cold as if they jumped out the sea when served to our table outside When I went in the girl behind...the counter was fine and apologetic, but the owner said it would be after mins I must have time travelled somewhere as we had just got the food When the girl agreed with me that it was cold the owner said some unsavoury words under he’s breath and said I’ll suppose I’ll give you fresh ones ???? As for the food !!! a bit dodgy the next day Not even plastic cutlery just the old wooden fork Won’t go back again"

"I like this pub. It has character and the locals, bar staff land lord/lady are friendly enough however you will end up chatting endless nonsense in a nice way and one beer will lead to another quite happily!!"

"Burnham was crowded with tourists, but this lovely little cafe down the quiet end of the High Street was perfect for a relaxed lunch. We had delicious paninis, followed by a yummy pecan slice. We enjoyed it so much we lingered for more drinks after...eating. It's hidden away in the quiet end of town but is well worth a visit!"
