"Pretty good compared to most other bars to be fair. Very clean for a bar and I did enjoy the fact that I could book a table and actually have it out of the way of people constantly walking back and forth. I feel like that may be the nature of how large of a table we needed but worked out for me. Prices are decent and I'm glad there was an option to order at your table or at the bar."

"Keep away from the buffet: very limited choices/no choice for the occupied three tables persons). Starter: spring rolls, pieces ofdried up prawn toast, a few satay chicken skewers; main(s): fried tofu, sweet and sour chicken and remnants of whatmight have been sticky spare ribs. All other tureens empty other than congealed sticky sauce on the bottom, one with overcooked noodles, one with greying fried rice looking unappetising. The staff said they were replenishing the tureens but after all that was put out was “crispy seaweed” and eventually another dish of deep fried sweet and sour chicken cut into strips instead of chunks, maybe one or the other was pork, no labelling on anything. Oh, I forgot, a tureen of thick glue with bits of sweercorn. Dessert: cupcake, about cut up oranges, half melon sliced, and marshmallows! Excuse by staff “boss ordered wrong food”! Had to pay forbuffet though. Only thing good was the “Chinese” tea for which I give star."

"Damons is the place to be on your birthday if you live in Sheffield. Just bring along your birth certificate and you get to eat free and you get a birthday cake and they sing to you! Oh make sure that you book in advance too. Ask anyone in Sheffield and they'll have been to a birthday or two at Damons. The only downside is that lots of other people are celebrating their birhdays around you so you might not feel quite so special after all. The food is American style if thats what you like and the presentation is really great. Much better quality than TGI Fridays in my opinion, which has a similar kind of menu. This place is nearly always busy so make sure that you book and delegate the driving as they have a cracking cocktails menu"

"We are a group of girls that visited here for bottomless brunch on the recent bank holiday.We booked a few weeks in advance and put our menu choices in a few days before and paid the final balance. This worked really well as meant that things ran really smoothly on the day.The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. Despite Boris confining everyone to their seats there was still a real buzz about the place with music at the perfect volume to enjoy but still be able to speak to each other. It was a really friendly environment.There were plenty of staff on so we never had to wait long for a drink (always a worry on bottomless brunch). Drinks were great quality and a good selection to choose from. We all really enjoyed the summer berry blank canvas.Food was also fantastic and again a good choice to choose from. I opted for the brunch grill which really set me up for drinking.Overall a really great experience. Some other friends have recently booked this based on my recommendation and I am hoping to return with my husband too."

"I was visiting Sheffield and there on Sunday just gone, with friends. Probably the best roast I've had in my life! I went for the three meat roast and everything was cooked really well. the highlight for me however, was the red cabbage on the dish so flavourful! On top of this, the staff were lovely and attentive. Very good value for money. If I'm ever in the area again I'll be sure to stop by for another roast!"
