"The young lady behind the counter was run away from her feet, but she was polite and friendly and kept her knowledge of her. I'm sorry to say I can't say good about the pizza. the sauce is not lustful, it tastes just like tomato sauce, and this is not a pizza sauce. no taste, no taste. the dead captain was quite good. also the garlic that had a lot of garlic on her, but with that the name. If you like a lot of garlic, you are hired. no terrible experience, but the pizza leaves much to be desired."

"Food was good and quick service. We both had beer battered fish and chips with a beer each. Very reasonable price and service was excellent. If your in downtown Truro definitely check out this restaurant!"

"Be careful eating here if you are celiac!!! I have read reviews from others saying the gluten free pizza was delicious, so maybe I just had a bad experience, but my pizza was NOT gluten free there was definitely cross contamination in the kitchen and I got really really sick. Might be okay for a mild gluten sensitivity, but if you are keeping 100% gluten free, I would not risk eating here. To add insult to injury, the pizza base was undercooked, sauce underwhelming, and the toppings were pretty sparse (I ordered a veggie pizza). It was not at all worth the higher than average price, even if it hadn't made me sick."

"Driving all day from CB to N B dropped into Truro and much to our joy found this . Instant good and chatty service and a great turkey sandwich and quiche salad . All the miserable folk complaining below must really had given off a sad aura! Thankyou"

"The Bistro is a fairly small place, only open from 5:00 to 8:30 so you should get reservations. We both got a halibut special for only $20.00 Ca. Any time you get a good halibut dish for about $16.00 US you have done well. Our server was great and the coffee was actually hot, a personal peeve of mine."
