"I’ve been hanging out to try this restaurant for weeks and tonight was the night. My excitement was very short lived. I ordered a chicken dumpling soup for $18 and 4 pan fried chicken dumplings all as a takeaway meal. Upon arrival home with my bag of goodies I found the soy dipping sauce was upside down and empty in the bottom of the bag but I still managed to dip my dumplings into it. Nothing special. Next I crack open the soup I’ve been thinking of this whole rainy week. Only to my shock and horror it was only 3/4 full $18)???? with nothing but what I am guessing is shop bought beef stock cubed broth with 6 grossly over cooked chicken dumplings that fell to piece every attempt to pick them up, even with a fork. No greens of any kind in the stock cube broth except 3 slices of onion and a massive amount of egg whites floating around. Well I hope it was egg whites I couldn’t eat more than 1/2 of the broth before it became unbearable to eat as it was far too salty and I was expecting at least a chicken broth with my chicken dumpling soup not beef. I hate leaving bad reviews, In fact this is my first time ever leaving a negative but I’m so disappointed."

"We were told they had the best steaks in Brisbane, and they were right. We ordered rib fillet wrapped in bacon medium rare - I had the house potato and a blue cheese, pear and walnut salad and my fiancé had it with chips and salad. He had pepper sauce and I had mushroom. OMG I could have just eaten the mushroom gravy as a meal it was so good. The house potato was a baked potato with the flesh scrapped out, mashed and replaced with cheese on the top and then grilled. OMG that potato was just heaven. The steak melted in my mouth. I was so excited about the main I forgot to mention we ordered buffalo wings and a cob loaf to share. The wings were very spicy but have a couple you didn't notice it any more. The cob loaf was lovely and warm and crunchy. We shared a dessert of brandy snap basket with strawberries, ice cream, cream and strawberry topping - it was also very yummy. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. Do yourself a favour and order a steak and make sure you have the mushroom gravy - yum."
