"Strange location at the edge of a supermarket, selection of authentic Mexican could be a bit broader, food was reasonably priced, I got the Nachos not what I expected but was very nice quite an array of toppings on the corn chips. Service...was fast and friendly"

"The staff member on a Saturday evening was friendly although it was a little amusing when I asked it they did anything other than full fat milk in their shakes that I was given a mini lecture that the only difference between full fat and skim milk is added water. Thanks for that. Anyway, the burger was OK but all I could really taste was the BBQ sauce (I had the Texan burger). The loaded fries were huge but unmemorable. Service was reasonably quick, although not super fast given there was hardly anyone else in at the time. It was OK, nothing to complain about, just unmemorable and I really much prefer Fritzenburger up the road. Their beef patties at least have some taste to them. I wouldn't rush back to Hank's. There are far better burgers that I've tasted in Brisbane."

"Sadly poor for a local place. Be careful about this place. Prob makes a lot of money from passing trade being on a main road with a big sign. Gunky junky sugary salty slosh. Nightclub type food. Not even cheap. We went a while ago...and meant to post at the time as a warning but hoped it might be a onceoff. But friends have confirmed. Didn't like the food and McDonald's type upsell when ordering. most locals i know have been once as you do and now avoid. My kids usually love American food but after one visit and talking with their young friends who also live locally some have worked there on ordering and microwave and they refuse to go back. You need to be cautious if you go."

"Fun theme and great wholesome food. Unfortunately the Bourbon Lager ran out five minutes before our order, perhaps the beer list could feature some more American beers but a Budweiser is usually ok. The dishes are really big don’t worry about going away hungry! The beef brisket was great, I adored my buttermilk fried chicken which was accompanied with Sweet potato mash and a wonderful salad with pecans. If you have the space left, don’t miss out on the dessert with fried bananas in rum. Would recommend this restaurant for most occasions."
