"Locked in quarters because no trip to BG is completed without a quarter visit. They saw that they offered food through Double D's Smokehouse and decided to give him a shot. Absolutely glad I did it! Ordered the pick two combo (Rib Tips and Brisket from the plate menu and got the baked beans and Mac-n cheese as sides. General part and enough to feed two people (or a hungry college child. Rib tips were full of taste and juicy. The brisket tasted a little tangent, which was unique. The beans had small pieces of meat (cratt? bacon? the added taste and the BBQ sauce was on point. The only criticism would be the mac-n-cheese. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't up. The guy with Double D's is a great guy and very courteous. In any case, you must try back to try some other things on the menu!"

"I loved it!! I chose 3 meats and two sides! Pulled pork Turkey and smoked sausage with a baked potato and baked beans. Baked beans are awesome! Service was great the waitress we had was a delight!"

"I grew up eating Jimmy D's BBQ and hadn't been there in awhile so got a sandwich for lunch. I was so disappointed. The BBQ was way to salty. Couldn't eat the sandwich it was so bad. Miss the old BBQ."

"I feel like the pizza has gone down in quality a bit from what it used to be, but maybe I’m getting old. However, I would like them to either do a better job of cutting the pizza or at least send the cutter out with the pizza. The table behind us had several problems (including a poorly cut pizza) and ended up with their meal comped. I just used my pocketknife. When you hear a manager explain to the next table why high school kids screwed it up and actually made the customer feel better, and also have great service, it makes me overall more confident in the business as long as the manager is doing her job the kids will learn."

"Went here 6 days ago and the food was okay service wasn't the best but I left 5 stars anyways. The buffalo sauce isn't buffalo if you like buffalo. It's kinda watered down. I came back today after being told to try the hot instead. Best damn chicken wings in the state. Taylor was an amazing server, we didn't have to ask for anything. She was eager, happy to be serving, and super attentive. It was like she knew I was hesitant. Will definitely be requesting her for our future visits."

"Damn good BBQ! Very impressive to this Texas Gal. We were on our way home passing thru and saw a review online& decided to stop. Well worth it! The brisket was excellent! The spicy sauce to dip in is mouth watering. Potato salad was sweet. The mayo slaw was not to creamy. Just right amount of mayo. Excellent Job ! ! !"
