"Ordered in pizza tonight and thought we'd try this local spot. The guy on the phone was so polite and helpful. Even did a substitution at no cost and only $3.50 for delivery (depends how far away you are). It was made and delivered in about 25 minutes on a Friday night! Crust is on the thin side golden and tasty. Lots of toppings and nice blend of flavours. The guy who delivered was also very nice and you can tell they value service. Definitely recommend and plan to support this family owned business."

"We have eaten in more small town restaurants than you can count, so we know what they look like. This place, in the heart of Edmonton, is so small town: aged and frayed carpet, dog eared menus, scuffed tabletops, kind of dingy.But what it lacked in sparkle and shine was more than made up by the great service of Linda, and the food. We both had Montreal smoked beef sandwiches and were assured by Linda the meat was brought all the way from Montreal.We look forward to returning.Generous portions and best of all: no background music, just the noise of a busy restaurant with people enjoying good food."

"Stopped here for a lunch this past week. I decided to have a soup and salad as the prices of the ribs were much higher than I expected. Excellent soup!!! I also had a salad (with oil & vinegar which they forgot to put on the salad) with grilled chicken. The chicken was only luke warm."

"Smokehouse moved from being on the edge of a popular spot on 124 street to being tucked away in a residential area with not many access roads from the main traffic routes. The look of a southern BBQ joint is gone (no red white checkered plastic table cloths). They have 4 craft beers on tap. The prices are typically higher end similar to other BBQ places. The place was packed when I was there on 124st but the two of us were the only customers on an early Friday afternoon. Better than 3/5 which leaves a score of 4/5. The cornbread was very good and came in a pan with something they called cowboy butter."

"Have eaten here twice since hearing about this place, and have not been disappointed at all. I love the beef brisket, done to perfection. Last time I went I had the Roed Hus Road Kill, which is basically a huge stack of different meat! It was massive. But the best part was that it tasted good as well. Just the right amount of smokieness in the meat, nice sauces and good sides. I really like the pitt brown beans, and the smashed red potato skin. My friends had the 1/2 slab ribs and 1/2 chicken platter and said it was very good as well. We all took food home as we could not finish it all. So if you like BBQ, eat here!"

"Try the sliced brisket meal. It comes with a tasty sauce of its own, but the spicy sauce served on the table just about knocked my socks off. Plus the fries were spot on. Great place to eat."

"We recently moved into the neighborhood and had heard good reviews of Daravara. On my first visit, I felt very welcomed by the server, had an excellent meal and a very good pint of beer. I enjoyed the experience so much that I've returned on a number of occasions and have never felt I was wrong in my original belief that this is a fine pub/restaurant which is dedicated to good food, great beer, and first class customer service. I've only lived here two months, but already regard Daravara as my local. Highly recommended!"
