"If you’re ever in Manchester, Tennessee, and hungry, stop by and grab a bite at Freddie’s Restaurant!!! They’re known for wings, oysters, and steaks, but they have a lot of the popular foods like chicken tenders, burgers, and such!! They are located at 1946 McArthur Street. We had our supper there tonight! Didn’t think about taking pictures of our food until after it was gone, but what a treat! I had the French dip on a hoagie bun with French fries and Scott had the hamburger steak with French fries and slaw. Soooooooo good! I cleaned my plate!! (Scott always does! And the prices are VERY reasonable!! When you’re in the food business, it’s really nice to have the opportunity to eat someone else’s food!! Heather and Amy were very friendly and took EXCELLENT care of us!!! Very good experience!! We highly recommend this awesome restaurant!! "I was a customer today. The front store staff was very friendly. I ordered the 3 meat plate (pulled pork, brisket and ribs) mac cheese was my side along with a square of cornbread.I truly wanted to like there offerings. But as a southern girl with a taste for bbq; I was disappointed.Cornbread Sweet but firm/dryMac cheese Good texture but was lacking flavor/salt. Cheese was looked like it had either been reheated or sat open.Ribs DryBrisket Tender but lacked flavor. The side sauce helped make them taste better.Pulled pork Lacked flavor altogether. The portion was nice.I drove 30mins specifically to try their food and support a B.O.B. Unfortunately, the trip wasn’t worth it this time for ME. They had customers who were there and had been waiting. I’m not sure if there was a kitchen/cook issue?!?Nonetheless, the $36 cost was a loss.I’d also suggest* they use paper tape to add extra security to the containers. They’re a cheap styrofoam that easily opens/bends in transit. There was meat juices soaking the paper bag when I reached home. Someone could easily mess up their clothing or car seats."

"We ordered from this place today for lunch, I got the taco salad (with chicken and avocado) and OMG was it good! It was the best Taco salad I have ever tried I am not a big salad person. I cannot wait to try other dishes. My boss and his wife ordered garlic spinach pasta and a co-worker ordered the enchilada bowl, everyone said they were excellent. I knew it was there because I go into the market from time to time but I forgot about it, kept meaning to try it. It is my new favorite spot for lunch. I wanted to go back for dinner, that is how good it was, but I got out of work later than I expected so I will have to wait. Portions were huge and everything was so fresh. I meant to snap a photo but it was just so good I could not stop eating it! They have a well deserved 5 star rating. This is a hidden gem and I hope they are here to stay. Updated with photos when I went back today, still as good as it was yesterday. Owner is a sweetheart and so are the workers. If you have not tried this place you are missing out!"
