"We were surprised that the BBQ Rib was deep-fried and seemed like undistinguishable meat. The chili, however, was good. Chips were average. Nice, friendly staff. Small, clean restaurant with a couple of tables... mostly take-out."

"Quiet location at edge of village overlooking fields and trees. Warm welcoming host and pub with well-stocked bar and excellent food. In the 3 nights there, we tried the traditional fish and chips through the gourmet chicken stuffed with salmon in cheese sauce with cream and wine. Every dish exceptional! Comfortable spacious bungalow complete with tea, fresh fruit, and chocolate biscuits! Best place to return to after walking the Pingo trail! Many thanks, Owner and Chef Richard and your excellent staff"

"If you're looking for somewhere a little different for coffee, a light lunch or even a meal in Thetford it's definitely worth giving Julio's a go. The boat is often busy and noisy but you'll get a friendly welcome and good value food. The omelette with salad is a good lunch choice at just £2.50 and the giant hot dogs are a hit with my kids. If you want an authentic experience rather than your usual chain job, give this a go. It's on the river right opposite the Travelodge."

"Horrendous. The manageress greeted us with a face that said oh jeez. More customers? When will this hell end . No smile. No eye contact. Chairs at the table were covered in stains. Stains where no attempt to scrub them clean had been made. The food looked like yesterday 's warm ups. I 'd have complained but was with daughter, son in law and two children and we 'd just had a long drive. Think they just wanted a break from driving. Shame nobody ate their food. This place was known to be good when it was a TableTable restaurant. You learn by your mistakes. #neveragain #wasrobbed"
