"The food is great but it's a hit or miss with the efficiency of the service. Calling ahead doesn't always give you a head start, and this morning I called, was told 10 minutes, arrived 15 minutes later, and it then took them another couple of minutes to actually start making my food. I'll also mention that I was the only person in the place. So, A+ for food taste, C- for timely service."

"Have eaten here several times. Was surprised that with a reservation we were still sitting at a booth looking into the kitchen. We could have asked to be moved, but we didn't want to. The waiter was very enthusiastic, but failed to fill glasses of water without being asked. My husband's lasagna was a huge brick in the middle of an unadorned plate. A little salad or something green and crispy would have been nice. Not an à la carte fan, especially when it comes to the price of the main course alone. The room was very dark and a bit noisy. I would ask not to sit in this area another time."

"We enjoyed our visit to The Bureau. The vibe was upbeat, casual. There were several families with kids. We had the burger, the Asian chicken salad the pork skewers.They have a nice selection of beers and one nice cider on tap. I was disappointed that the desert I ordered was supposed to feature meringue, but it wasn't served with any. The service was fast friendly."

"This restaurant is one of many small restaurants on the international market in Emeryville. The food seems like a hybrid of Indian food and Persian. I could be horrific, but that was the impression I got. The workers seemed friendly and offered me a taste of their BBQ chicken. It's always nice to try the food first. I ordered the BBQ chicken and Shami plate. Your BBQ chicken is not the way Americans do it. It was pretty good and delicate, though I wish there were more sauce. The Schami, which is like a ground-rib-cabob thing, was also solid. I wish it came with yogurt or something to add it. The rice was covered with lentils curry, which was a beautiful note and improved the rice experience a lot. It was a solid place to eat, but there are many other restaurants that seem interesting. I personally liked the food, although I can definitely see that people don't like it."

"We hadn't been to a P.F. Changs in years due to distance. The food was very good. Cocktails were very good. Presentation was great and our waiter was perfect. Restaurant was a bit cold and table was high and a bit wobley were only minor complaints."
