"Had been in town for the day and had just been at whole foods, but after reading about this place we had to make a special trip to give them an attempt. the location is not the best, but that scares me never or my wife (at least when we are together), and it often complements the experience for us. we opened the door and did not look back. <br/>Inside is simple tables and chairs, and they sit wherever they please. the whole right side of the load is a butcher shop and we have listened to getting meat as we sat and waited for our food, and laughed at how fresh our meat would be. we were the only caucasian in the restaurant, but for a woman who has eaten alone on another table, each other was hispanic, and I say that only to show that if an ethnic restaurant full of foreign nationals represents his food, it is in the rule the actual thing, and it was!!!!<br/>Let me tell that this Mexican food is incredibly broken by foot! my wife said that her garnel tacos were the hands she'd ever eaten. she liked the Barbacoa taco she had good. I had lengua, chicharron and carnita tacos and they were fabulous, and came in double mais tortillas, with gurke and radishes on the side. Do not look at the sauces on the table. they add so much to the tacos, and they have passed this taste explosion in their mouth, and for me the best was gone to eat it, to put both the green and the red sauce at the same time. the taste is intense, but heat is only moderate. I also ordered a steak tostada, but was not really able to eat it, I was too full and we had to go out for an appointment and could not rest my might not to make it fit. it was covered with fresh vegetables, cheese and creama (like acidic creams, but milder) .<br/> my wife still talks about her shrimp tacos and wants to plan another trip to try more. I would put this place there with el asador, taco mex and taqueria olgy’s, and he could hit one of them. you need to see this place high when you're in mobile."

"Excellent small plates!!! Large plates were mediocre at best and overpriced. Soup, chicken wings, and pimento cheese were fabulous! Wine list is excellent. Lamb ragu was good. Duck was chewy on unimpressive lentils. Fish was on a soupy base that did not come together well as a dish."
