"I went there a couple of times to run, and the Millennium trail is very good, but in the evenings it gets very dark, it needs some more street lights, so it's better to go with someone. It still feels safe because there is always a practice of some kind in the soccer field."

"When I don 't want to cook.....I call happy moms!. My family loves this restaurant. You know its good when you kids ask to go there, its my daughters favourite. And with so much emphasis on kids eating healthy I feel good knowing its trans fat and msg- free.<br/>I read the last review and I found it very judgemental. That 'little old chinses lady ' is one of the sweetest, most friendliest woman I 've come across in the service industry lately. And while the decor is not brand new, its always been clean when we 've been there. The decor matches the neighbourly, relaxed feel. And I would never judge someone for eating breakfast for dinner. Hey when its good, its good and it don 't matter what time it is!"

"It had been a while since we had been at this location, and usually only going through the drive-through. This time we went inside and ordered. We had the big crunch sandwich and were advised it would be about six minutes as they were going to cook up the fresh chicken, but it is well worth the wait for fresh chicken. The only problem with the wait was the opportunity to sit down and look at the surroundings. I had on a white long tailed shirt, and I was afraid to sit back in the chair. Someone has poorly painted a coat of darker blue over a lighter shade of blue on all the seats, tables there are only two) and the railings. The only problem besides the bad paint job is the fact that they did not remove the dirt and grime before painting. The end result is that it is sticky and not very inviting to sit down. The walls and ceiling leave something to be desired as well, I asked who the owner of this franchise was and was informed that this is not a franchise!. Thank goodness the food is great or I would think that KFC was on it's last legs. The staff is great and the food is worth the wait, but maybe sitting in you car in the drive through might be a more comfortable place to wait."

"I reserved a table for eight near the window with a view of the Fraser River and was careful to explain we were bringing guests from out of town. When we arrived we had been put in two tables in a long row with seating...on only one side, making conversation impossible. Instead of apologizing the host put it down to miscommunication. We went elsewhere and won't be back. Sadly I can't comment on the food or service since we never got to try it. Grrrrr...."

"What a surprise in disguise. I was expecting a mall quality meh meal, but was positively surprised. Best BBQ pulled pork sandwich this side of the Fraser River. Well 'that ' since I live in Langley, but looking forward to having to pay the toll fee to get my BBQ fix! Great price, great bread, great fries and to top things off the ginger beer as beverage was the proverbial cherry on top. Hubby had the brisket sandwich, and he agrees. Friendly staff too (handled an issue with another customer like pros despite the young look of the shift). Keep up the good work, looking forward to the next time!"

"Have you got IT?And by “IT”, I mean an IT Char Burger? If you’ve never heard of an IT Char Burger before, it’s probably because you can only find it at a tiny hole-in-the-wall burger/cafe/Indian/Asian food outlet in a nondescript mini mall located in New Westminster. The next time you’re around Royal Square Mall on McBride and Eight Ave, head into the little shopping mall and grab a burger from IT Char.Their signature IT Char Burger with Fries comes in for under $10 with fries. I added a side of gravy and have to admit that it was pretty awesome. The burger comes with two chargrilled patties topped with caramelized onions, bacon, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Everything is made to order and the fries had the perfect balance of crispy exterior and soft interior that paired perfectly with the thick, rich gravy.Yup, it doesn’t get much better than this. There’s not really a food court in this mini mall… but they do have some tables that you can sit at to enjoy your meal. This place also serves up western-style breakfast options, butter chicken, as well as some Asian dishes… but I always come back for their burgers.I finally decided one day to try one of their other burgers… the Double Spicy BBQ with fries and drink for under $10. It’s fairly similar to the IT Char Burger in that it comes with caramelized onions and double patties. Where it departs is that it’s topped with thick-cut jalapeño slices as well as a sweet bbq sauce.This time around, I didn’t order the side of gravy and I was kicking myself because it really sends the fries over the top.The jalapeño slices didn’t actually give this burger much heat but the burger was quite messy to eat with the mix of sweet caramelized onions and bbq sauce.IT Char makes a heck of a burger… make sure you check them out if you’re in the area."
