"We were happy to pay a bit more due to pandemic but they removed all the good curries and JACKED the prices. Boring butter chicken went from $18.50 (which is already pricey) to $23.50!! If you order on Spyce, the food delivery app, it's $27 . TWENTY SEVEN DOLLARS. uhm....Do a quick google of indian takeaway in Manhatten. The same dish is $19. Vancouver $17. Insane. This was our favourite restaurant. We're not made of money. Just crazy."

"Why the drastic change in ratings from my last visit? That’s an easy one to answer! New management and new food! Now, a bit of context: Prime Time Café, as I said in my earlier review, has a bit of history in Prince Rupert, having been around for just over 15 years. Up until a couple of years ago, it was owned by one person who, I assume, was well-liked and ran a successful business. When ownership changed hands, the level of quality wasn’t maintained and the food was as bland and tasteless as can be – that was the focus of my last review.Since my last visit, Prime Time Café closed its doors at the end of December 2016 and remained closed until June 2017, when it re-opened under new management. The new management sought to bring something different to Prince Rupert foodies – something beyond the standard pizza, Asian cuisine, and seafood-type options. How did they go about doing that? By bringing a “taste of home away from home” according to their Facebook page. That is to say, the new focus of Prime Time was on traditional and modern Aboriginal foods: Jubilee Hall Soup; Fried Bread (and things served on fried bread;) Dungeness Crab; fish "

"We only ordered a wonton and a dinner for two.The fried rice was clumpy white rice with bland fried rice in between, the chicken chow mien was bland as well, everything was rushed, incomplete."
