"The Golden Island Chinese Restaurant has been operating on Salt Spring Island for over 35 years. On any given day you will find Sam, Ted, Winnie and Norman hard at work in the Restaurant. The food is excellent and we have been going there to eat, or getting take out, probably once a week for the entire time they have been in business. Our favourite dishes are the Beef Chow Fun, BBQ Pork Chow Mein, Chicken Chop Suey and the Honey Garlic Lean Pork. We think the prices are reasonable and find the establishment very clean. We would highly recommend giving it a try. One complaint .... they are closed on Mondays!"
