"My wife and I were in Sterling heights and found that we were hungry. We did a quick search for local restaurants and found Johnny Black's Public House was nearby. The name alone caused us to come and check out the place. We found the interior to be pleasing, stylish yet modern in a way. The menu is large and they had a separate menu for the day's specials and another menu with cocktails and draught beer. For an appetizer, we had the Brussels sprouts which were fantastic! I had the chicken piccata for an entree. Their preparation is a departure from the classic because it has tomatoes and potatoes. The menu wasn't clear but the potatoes were a mashed potato that went very well with the dish! Draught beers and ciders are served in large 22 Oz. glasses, presenting an amazing value! To finish our meal, we ordered the deep-fried Oreos dessert. OMG! copious amounts of ice cream and whipped cream complimented a center row of battered and deep-fried chocolate Oreo cookies! We will come back again just to get this dessert!"

"I can’t believe I paid 10$ for my fries to be bigger than the chicken tenders, this place is full of old people who just stare at you for no reason. I walk in to get my food and the workers look at me like I’m in the wrong place, not a single thank you or any kind words came from them. If I want snake meat I’ll go catch it not pay 10$ for it. First and last time coming here."

"Don't get me wrong the food was great, but the individual boxes weren't stapled shut and the boxes weren't individual wrapped with Saran wrap sauce was spilled all over the inside of the bag, one big mess plus we were shorted an order of spring rolls. wish I could share my picture order."

"Went to Sonic tonight for a late night milkshake. Got there at 10:20 and got in line at the drive thru. There were a couple cars in front of me and the waitress was long but a couple cars moved up. When there were only 2 cars in front of me, it took 20 minutes for the person 's order to be taken. When the next car pulled up, it was 11pm and the person was told they were closed. I pulled up and was told the same. I explained to the girl at the drive thru that I had been in line for 40 minutes. She said she wasn 't sure what was going on and that she just came up front and she is not allowed to serve anyone after 11. It was exactly 11:00. After this experience and reading other reviews about how slow this location is, I would definitely think twice about returning. Clearly customer satisfaction is not high on their list of priorities."

"We placed an order, promised at 4:10. My boyfriend got there early and waited a while until finally going up to the counter, only to be told we made it but someone else picked it up'. So he waited a while longer, going up to the counter multiple times after that, still wasn't ready. Meanwhile the cashier is giving out free things to a friend, and talking it up for a half hour. 5:00 rolls around and finally we got out food. Will not be returning to this location despite the fact we've been coming here for years. Disappointing."

"I booked a reservation for my sons birthday. We drove all the way there and they changed hours and were closed. No one bothered to contact me ahead of time to let me know. My son was disappointed. He was looking forward to celebrating his birthday there."

"Ordered a 12 pieces chicken potatoes and coleslaw. When I came home, there were hardly any kartoffels in the container. I called them, they have written my name for another page that is to be redeemed within 30 days. the next day after the work I went to the side. the owner was there and said they had no notes about the situation. he was very hostile and although I had provided as many details as possible, he treated me as if I were lying. he finally gave me the side of the kartoffels, but he never apologized for the situation or acted with care. his attitude to me seemed racist. the chicken was soggy and not crispy."
