"There are many Asian restaurants in the Nachtmarkt area, where our hotelwas located. My wife tried several of the Chinese, but personally I onlytried Grillhaus Hongkong.It's cheap to eat at Chinese restaurants in Vienna, the Beef Sechuan Ieat only cost 7,80 euros. The beef was nice and it was properly spiced.One of their specialities is the Peking Duck, but if you want to eat that, you will need to order in advance. I recommend that you try this restaurant.The highly rated Thai restaurant Bangkok-Vienna was closed for vacationwhen we were in Vienna. But if you like Thai food, you can try Ra'mienat Gumpendorferstrasse 9. There are also Indian, Japanese and Vietnameserestaurants in the area. Although, the majority of the Asian restaurants serve Chinese cuisine."

"Das Restaurant „Clementine im Glashaus“ liegt samt seinem schönen Gastgarten auf der ehemaligen „Braun-Bastion“ der vor rund 155 Jahren geschliffenen Wiener Stadtmauer, deren Reste harmonisch in das Hotel Palais Coburg integriert worden sind. Seine erhöhte Lage bietet den Vorteil, dass die Gäste praktisch nichts vom Lärm des bekanntlich starken Straßenverkehrs auf dem nahen Parkring und auch auf der unmittelbar vor dem Hotel vorbeiführenden Coburgbastei zu hören bekommen, sondern sich in einer Oase der Ruhe mit Ausblick auf das vor etwa 160 Jahren errichtete Coburg-Palais mit seiner weißen Fassade den im „Glashaus“ bzw. im Gastgarten gebotenen kulinarischen Genüssen widmen können. Vor rund zwei Jahren habe ich erstmals einen „Grill-Abend“ in diesem Gastgarten besucht und bin dabei nicht nur von der ausgezeichneten Qualität der Küche, sondern auch von der hohen Professionalität und der angenehmen Freundlichkeit des Service-Personals überzeugt worden.Seit diesem Premieren-Abend suche ich das nach der ersten Hausherrin des Palais Coburg, Prinzessin Clementine von Orleans, benannte Restaurant „Clementine im Glashaus“ regelmäßig auf, und zwar abwechselnd mittags sowie abends, und bin danach stets wieder hoch zufrieden gegangen: Das Küchenteam dieses Restaurants verwendet nur erstklassige Lebensmittel, die es professionell zubereitet, kreativ kombiniert und mit entsprechenden Gewürzen raffiniert verfeinert, die Weinkarte stellt ein „Weinbuch“ mit einer unglaublich großen sowie vielfältigen Auswahl an ausgezeichneten Weinen dar und die Beratung sowie Betreuung durch die meist jungen, sehr gut geschulten Servierkräfte erfolgt fachmännisch, freundlich und geduldig – selbst wenn einige Gäste vor lauter Freude über die angenehmen Stunden in diesem Restaurant dessen „Sperrstunde“ übersehen, also überlange dort verweilen, wie es meinem Gast und mir am leider verregneten Abend des 26. Juli 2017 unterlaufen ist: Dieser Abend ist für das Personal schon deshalb zu einem – bravourös bewältigten – „Stresstest“ geraten, weil das schlechte Wetter die Benützung des Gartens durch Gäste verhindert hat, so dass auch die für den „Grill-Abend im Garten" gebuchten Gäste direkt im „Glashaus“ untergebracht werden mussten – und das für die Bedienung von Grill und Smoker eingeteilte Küchenteam hat trotz der so ungünstigen Wetterbedingungen auf diesen im Garten stehenden Geräten wunderbare Gerichte gezaubert, wie z. B. eine zarte Hühnerbrust mit Gewürz-Pommes und Dijon-Senf sowie ein auf den Punkt „medium“ gegrilltes Rinderfilet mit Sauerrahm-Dip, welche Speisen uns gleichzeitig serviert worden sind und ausgezeichnet geschmeckt haben.Gerne kann ich allen Interessenten einen Besuch dieses Restaurants empfehlen, das seit längerer Zeit zu Mittag (zusätzlich zur Standard-Karte) ein wöchentlich wechselndes, wirklich preisgünstiges Menü anbietet, das sich für vorsichtige Gäste für ein erstes „Testessen ohne Risiko“ in einem Lokal eignen könnte, das man wegen seiner speziellen Lage nicht von der Straße aus einsehen kann, was mir aber als besonders angenehmer Vorzug erscheint. Vor einem Besuch des Restaurants „Clementine im Glashaus“, das nicht nur über eine 32-stufige Innen-Treppe, sondern auch mittels eines gläsernen Lifts von der Hotel-Lobby aus erreichbar ist, wäre erfahrungsgemäß eine vorherige Tisch-Reservierung zweckmäßig."

"Have been coming to Aera since I was a student and still love it. It's nothing fancy but it does exactly what it says on the can and always hits the spot. With eating and drinking getting more and more expensive in the 1st district (with these cost increases not necessarily being matched by improvements in quality), Aera continues to offer good value with a relaxed atmosphere for all age groups.The menu offers a range of drinks and food, from classic Wiener schnitzel to stuffed pancakes and antipasti. Prices are very reasonable, portions are generous and the food is fresh and of good quality. A practical solution for groups who can't decide on what type of food they want to eat. Vegetarians have plenty of options to choose from.Last time I was there, I took the Italian antipasti platter, which was the best antipasti I have had anywhere in Vienna - or anywhere at all, for that matter. A huge serving of mozzarella, feta cheese, prosciutto, grilled veg (the roasted red peppers were truly delicious) and olives - served with more pizza bread than I could eat.The warehouse-style interior has a shambolic sort of charm (toilets can be described as "grunge", but are still acceptable), and is even cosy in the winter, thanks to the enormous industrial radiators under the windows. There is an attractive deck outside in summer.A thoroughly likeable place."

"We came here accidentally while looking for ambulanc which was recommended by our host ...the food was actually really good but the server never smiled and even forgot one of the 4 main courses without apologizing. He blamed the cook but what was strange is...that he didn’t notice the one main course was missing until we asked about it. The small spare ribs are a generous portion and came with fresh French fries. The rest of the gang got burgers and loved them but their fries looked like they came from frozen section."

"I rarely write reviews. An experience has to be extremely bad or extremely good for me to do that. What a terrible experience this was. Admitted, we apparently came shortly before their break between lunch and dinner. However, nobody told us. If we would have...known, we would of course have gone to a different place. The waitress had serious difficulties to smile even once at us. In addition she wanted us to pay the bill while we were eating the starter !! When we complained, she told us that we can be happy that we got anything to eat at all, because this is her lunch break !!! Now to the food: A main course that came two minutes after we got the starter, served by a guy in sandals on a serving trolley (felt like a good old ski trip with the school in the seventies : . Food that is more than apparently just warmed in a few seconds on site, because there wasn't a single cook in the entire restaurant. The Soup (for 18 EUR tasted like nothing. And all that for pricing that is equivalent of a fine dining place in downtown Vienna. The main dish was better, but also not worth mentioning and heavily overpriced. All of that together was a bit too much for our taste. So I can only recommend that you do no go there, because this place seems to be a complete rip off and there are more than plenty of restaurants in Vienna that will give you a significantly better quality and experience for a little more than half the price. Sorry, but this experience was inexcusable."

"At first the waiter who made us sit was not particularly kind, maybe why didn't we speak German??? His colleagues then in the room were quite available even if a little bit 'crazy, but I understand that in some premises you are a number and first free the table best is! All in all, however it ate well, I took the grilled chicken, and a fanta, my husband burger with chips and big beer, as start a fondue of cutting served with total bread €48 approximately. Conclusion to eat is more than good!"
