"After reading reviews we really wanted to try this place. Very close to Metro stop!! Absolutely greeted very friendly. We wanted to try a few things. We had the chicken wings. Fried very crispy and heat hot! Delicious We got the pork buns with the hoisin sauce pork and bun, yummy! We also got the house dumplings!! O. M. G now I know how they should taste. We also got the lamb dinner with onions and red peppers. Really outstanding! Now I get why they say it’s fine during the day But wouldn’t go at night time. When you get off the Metro there were a lot of young males there. We were not bothered by them. Well worth going! Would love to return one day!!"

"Yo their NEW spicy bbq pulled pork sandwich was so DELICIOUS. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. No joke. I came here after an afternoon in dc. I was walking around browsing for restaurants to eat at and their shop caught my attention. It was their poster promoting their new bbq pulled pork sandwich to be exact. So I decided to give it a go. Their workers are very nice. I told the lady making my sandwich of my dairy allergy and so she switched her gloves and made sure there was no dairy in my sandwich. Other than the default of pulled pork, bbq sauce, and spicy jalapeño crisps, I added lettuce and pickles. The crisps were like mini French fries or chips. It was a nice touch. I ordered a big and my sandwich was so good. I wish they had bigger sizes. The sub was a nice blend of sweet and spicy taste with the juiciness of the pork. The crisps added that extra crunch which I really like. TIL that this sub, Spicy BBG Pulled Pork and the Classic version are available for a limited time only. So, I highly recommend grabbing this scrumptious sandwich while you still can. I'm sure you won't regret it."

"If you visit DC, you may come through Union Station. If so, you MUST go to the food court in the basement of Union Station, and search until you find Sunrise Caribbean. You will have trouble finding it at first, because it hides in a weird part of the food court. But when you find it, you will thank me for writing this post! Sunrise Caribbean always has some faux meat dish such as vegetarian stir fry, which actually means delicious sweet and spicy faux chicken mixed with vegetables . It also sometimes serves vegan mac n' cheese! In any case, it will have plentiful delicious Trinidadian style vegetable side dishes! Very vegan friendly, huge quantities of food, delicious, smells great, tastes great, fills you up. You will feel like you have really begun your DC trip off to a good start if you eat here on your way through Union Station!"
