"We visited here again, granted the staff were a little distracted the day we went but soon apologised and took our orders , we found a seat and as usual the food came out and we had zero complaints at all! Those that are complaining about the paper cups and plates would soon complain more if they had to wait for a plate and that it would be cold. The paper gets recycled and helps the planet out. This place is for a quick fill up before/after your shop if you are looking for a cafe experience then go elsewhere , this is a more of a do it yourself cafe and you need a little patience, not once have we had bad food here. The prices are more than reasonable , what you pay here is barely the cost of a meal at a restaruant and theres more of it too. If you are dining here for the first time keep an open mind and have a little patience , it's value food with a slower service. You go to the cafe for a quick fill up not a sit in restaruant ."

"The potato house was a great place for a meal! The staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was really delicious. The large selection of potato dishes, which were all very well prepared, is particularly noteworthy. The portions were generous and the price-performance ratio was excellent. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back!"

"Excellent. my daughter came back to uni today and thought we had fish and chips, but they and my wife who had other ideas before. visited the canteen today 13th february to lunch. nice welcome when we got in. 3 friendly staff. daily specials, I had the thai green curry that was excellent. in my normally critical opinion this is a simple inviting esserei, served with large dips in good portions, great value for money and in clean, simple environment. highly recommended. you will be back"

"My wife and I called in on the 'off chance ' as we were diving past in the car. Lovely warm scones just out the oven and a very nice toasted cheese and ham sandwich and a baked potato with cheese. An abundance of cheese! Simple...and tasty food with a real 'home made ' feel. Ideal 'stop off ' if you are driving by or visiting the garden center. We 'll certainly call in again if we are nearby. Cheerful service. Recommended."
