"Definitely a great spot to try out if your in the Greensboro area. Food was all fresh and well garnish. Great staff, our waiter had many other guest to attend to, but she managed to provide great customer service and accommodations to our preference when it came to our orders. We did have to send back one steak that had been over cooked, we did not mind because we understood when places are hiring new cooks and have high demands. Everyone has to learn somewhere. We got our steak replaced which had a wonderful moist and great chewy texture. We will definitely come again."

"Although I was disappointed in the Eggs Benedict, Grits, and the Hash Brown Potatoes; I enjoyed the Ambiance, the Wine, and the Coffee exceptional ! The Eggs Benedict tasted too sweet and not enough Hollandaise Sauce, the Grits were stiff I sent then back , and the Hash Brown Potatoes were more of a roasted medley mixture ? , instead of what one would expect of Hash Browns . Having dined throughout the country, I have had better , and I have had worse . Maybe I expected too much? I fondly remember the Undercurrent back in the 80 's/90 's when it was located on S. Elm. It had a stellar reputation. I will come back and experience Lunch/Dinner. I enjoy dining downtown occasionally and I liked the atmosphere, including the friendliness of the staff :"

"Before I start I 'm just going to say this place is amazing! You can stop there if you want, just go and enjoy, otherwise, let 's just proceed. Atmosphere is your typical festive Mexican environment so nothing bad there. Service: Everyone is super friendly. Hostess was ultra nice and upon sitting the server hit me with an Hola and tbh, I don 't think anyone has done that to me at a Mexican restaurant around here. I was presented with the chips and salsa and when I came back from there was also a container of Guacamole puree with some heat and spices in a bottle. I sampled it and wow! So good! I ate half of the the bottle with my chips and tortillas throughout the meal. I ordered my go to, the choripollo. Rice and beans were on point. Exactly how they should be. Moist and flavorful rice and beans had a great flavor and wasn 't flat at all. Chicken had a great marinade and of course being covered with the perfectly seasoned chorizo and cheese sauce. They aren 't relying in the sauce ontop to flavor the chicken like others do. Amazing flavor and couldn 't be happier 5/5 all day, everyday! Even though this is my second Mexican restaurant in High point I hage visited to review I will be HARD PRESSED to go elsewhere in HP so I can keep reviewing. I 'm literally writing this review while eating at a Mexican restaurant in Clemmons eating ok food (review coming) and finding myself closing my eyes and wishing I was back at San Luis eating."

"I?ve seen many comments about untrained employees. And this I know personally is true. The first day I was there was a Sunday (came in the same day as hired) and was told to just stand and watch. If I did try and help it would be taken and me told once again, to stand back and watch. As you?re working there you?ll meet the ?teen squad? which is a bunch of MANAGERS who are 17-18. So they clearly don?t know ANYTHING about teamwork, conversation with new employees to make them comfortable, continuously went behind me to change what I had done to in order making it WRONG because ?they know more? and thought ?she?s just wrong? instead of asking the customer themselves (happily pleased with what MYSELF had made for them) and the customer would even have to go and tell them that they are wrong. Not to mention the favorites. This is not a place to work if you have good work ethic, and team playing. Oh, and if you do work there for a while also, you?ll notice how differently you?ll be treated than other people in the store also. The only people worth talking to is Noah, Adele, George and Emma. Everyone else should be fired. Not to mention when the tortillas are sticking together and your person can?t get it off the other, ask for a fresh tortilla bag to be opened. They?re past a month old. And the beef isn?t cooked all the way."

"From the city, looking for everywhere not dieucks. I had to repeat my order several times, they made my brown sugar latte with regular milk instead of milk as required. the white mocha tasted like pure sirup, as if they had forgotten the coffee. After working as barista, I was disappointed with my coffee order."

"Now this is great Italian cuisine! It was my first time there but will not be my last! Started dinner with minestrone soup...delicious, followed by Veal Marsala (loaded with mushrooms) that was one of the best I've had in a restaurant. Tiramisu for dessert...divine! Loved the relaxed atmosphere and the wait staff were very accommodating. Mid range pricing for great dining and food experience...definitely not a sub and pizza shop...way better!"
