"Booked a table for six plus a baby, here are the positive aspects. The place is very well decorated, the beer is of a very high quality, the staff are generally very welcoming and attentive, the guy on the door especially so. The food was...lovely, good portions and very quickly served, under mins on a Saturday evening was impressive. The few negative aspects of are these, the bar area is a touch crowded, not fun with a pushchair. The waiter took three attempts to sit us at our correct table, causing a bit of an issue moving three children about. The chips were a touch over seasoned.would I return yes but I think it's not ideal with a small child."

"Unlike many Premier Inns the restaurant is on the ground floor. It is run by ‘Thyme’ who provide the usual excellent Premier Inn breakfast. (It seemed to have a wider choice than most. The dinner menu appeared to be slightly less extensive than that provided by Brewers Fayre but my gammon steak was a sensible size and excellently cooked. The churros I had for dessert were fine, but I found four to be more than enough. My family who were staying with me had the mixed grill which they thoroughly enjoyed, but they were disappointed by the lemon and clementine cheesecake which they thought had been “hanging about."

"Excellent chippy normally, bit complacent on the orders. Tonight, no beans, which were ordered and paid for. Last week, no chips delivered. It's annoying when the food is normally very good"

"Met with friends for a coffee and snack after our Welsh class. Staff are friendly and lovely, all very clean and fresh, plants and a good clean up is a great improvement. Coffee is excellent and the rolls with breakfast food are delicious! Just such a good place to meet, you just have to keep going back. Bendigedig!"

"Whilst this may sound weird to some, I believe that some establishments can get away with having marginally disappointing beer, food, or service is the aesthetic is right and have that certain je ne sais quoi. We found The Sloop by doing a google search for dog friendly pubs within the vicinity when visiting Pembrokeshire a few weeks ago. As we drove down into the hamlet it became very obvious that this was a popular choice as whilst there was quite a lot of parking it was going to be a challenge to find a free space. I don't know whether we had the option to sit inside as we tend to not when we have the pups with us and anyway what's a little drizzle on holiday? (let the records show that drizzle became redefined in July of 2023).. I cannot think of anything that I did not like about The Sloop, including location and setting, atmosphere at the bar, the welcome from staff, food and drinks. There were some local Ale options which of course I was compelled to try as part of my mantra to aid local business and all of which were well kept. We will definitely seek out the place more deliberately when next in the area."

"Highly recommend the Salt Pepper Squid and the Cod was delicious. Scallop Kebabs were not worth £23.95 and Hunters Chicken burger was a bit of a let down. Both of these did not live up to the description. Service very friendly, quick and attentive. Bathrooms very clean and better than expected. Restaurant area was clean, pleasant and inviting decor. Not value for money."

"Great place to stop for some very well made cafe orientated menu. The home made burghers were the best I've had for ages. A very friendly service, a great view of Newgale Beach and cheaper than many of the cafes on the beach. I shall be stopping again."
