"Great place for a drink and food. The waitress was fantastic. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the steaks are off. I think the steaks should come from the local ranchers in the area. I hope this is something that will change in the future, but it will not stop me from stopping on my way through the state. Cheese"

"When my wife went in the well-lit upper entrance, we were with Chef Handke 's glory of prices and photo celebrity ops. We went down the stairs to an old brewery / subway type cellar dining room. We were greeted by Helga, the German hostess, formerly from the Messer House. We were asked if we had a reservation in an empty restaurant with 2 full tables. I was asked to delete my cigar, in which I explained I don't smoke, I just got on cigars. She insisted I got it out and gone, or I couldn't sit. I should have gone, but the self-righteous boss Handke and his accusations overcame my feeling of satisfaction and awakened me to the promise of food joys like no one I have ever tasted. We sat next to the geriatric table in a well-lit dining area. Since the restaurant was next to empty, I thought we were sitting in a cozy place that gives us some room to breathe and a little privacy for our fine dining experience. No, we sat in a 4 person 1/2 stand where the lighting was brighter than the sun. I'll skip the waiter because he should work for a better place. The rolls were delivered at room temperature and the butter was frozen, the wine was selected from the chef's favorites, which were overpriced and common. The worst of it smells like mothballs and tasted like crap. The main meal was nothing unusual, different, but I had no orgasm thinking of taking another bite. My wife's meal looked like mine, but it had lamb and it was covered with goo and lost the original taste. I couldn't get over the deserts. We were told seasonal fruits that in autumn I think pumpkins, apples, etc. I only saw strawberries. Handkes wasn't very busy for a Friday night, and now I know why. I always wanted to go, now I don't have to go again. You need to focus on a smaller selection of good wines that turn off lights. Cut back on the specials and focus on the main courses."

"I went there on Sunday around 4:45pm with my husband. Food was okay. But our server is a American white girl who was extremely mean and being racist to us. She was not take care of us after we got our food. The other guy who was not our server helped us change the grill. And we asked for our bill for two times, the first time we asked she just ignore and standers in the front desk. There was a table sitting next to us are American. She kept asking them how was everything and checked them out immediately once they finished. We were extremely upset about the dining experience at gogi korean bbq. Probably will not coming back again. (We tipped the guy who changed our grill $20, and left $3 for our bus girl!!!!"
