"Pangea food truck was nearby so I stopped for late lunch. By the name I was expecting either food evocative of a more prehistoric time, or an international menu. I was disappointed to find the menu consisted of chili, hot dogs, burgers, wraps and meat skewers. I decided to go with a cup of chili and the pangea burger. The burger itself came with no toppings other than a slice of tomato and a piece of lettuce. There are toppings, but it costs extra and I wanted to try the burger naked. And, I could really taste the beef. Lightly seasoned with pepper salt, not greasy. It was tasty and juicy, but needs some complexity. Otherwise, the bread was a solid burger roll. It maintained form and did not soak up the juices becoming soggy. But it was not homemade and therefore lacked the delicate nuances therein. As for the chili, it was almost all meat save for chopped onions. I did not see or taste much else than beef. It had a signature chili seasoning and tomato onion base, but no complexity otherwise. I actually experimented and put some of the chili on the burger and ate it. They went well together, but it was not as interesting as I hoped. Just more meat on top of meat. Pangea provides a solid burger, and ok chili. There is a need for complexity here. Although I'd pass on the chili, I would get a burger again, but only if I had my own hot sauce and pickles on hand."
