"Garden City shopping nite, craving something soupy so we made our way to Ph by Pho Hung. The Vietnamese restaurant never fails to draw in a crowd as we waited 15min before a table was available. After reviewing their well presented menu, we ordered special combination beef pho ($13), grilled pork rice vermicelli salad ($12.9) and salt & pepper quail ($7.5) to share.<br>

Combination beef pho arrived first with medium rare sliced beef, tripe, beef balls and brisket. The hot bowl of goodies presents a fragrant beefy scent with hints of Chinese spices. Soup taste is on the mild beefy and salty side. The rice noodles were cooked to perfection and the meat tender and flavorful. Compared to Pho Hung in Sunnybank, the soup here taste "watered down". 3.5/5<br>

The vermicelli salad contains finely sliced veggies, peanuts, fresh mint, spring onion and grilled pork all sitting on top of round rice noodles. Add in some specialty fish sauce, you have a bowl of happiness that is flavorful and refreshing. The pre-marinated grilled pork was sweet & tender. The rice noodles cooked to perfection with just the right amount of soft vs chewiness. Combined with the refreshing salad and sweet & salty fish sauce, you have a bowl descent for success. One minor downside however was the watered down taste of the fish sauce. 4/5<br>

The salt & pepper quail was the last dish to arrive. the lightly fried quail was garnished with fried onions, peanut, ginger and red pepper. The pre-marinated bird was very tender and juicy with a hint of gamy taste. The outer skin on the other hand was a tad under cooked and lacked the anticipated crispiness. 3.5/5 <br>

Overall service is ok for a busy Thursday nite. Several follow ups were made for cutlery and fish sauce. 3/5<br>

"We went in for lunch at and the place had less than tables of customers but by the time we left, it was a full house! <br br/>We ordered the deal which included means, rice and soup. We selected black bean pippies, hainan chicken, salt and pepper squid and sweet pork ribs. It was serves quickly and came out piping hot. Everything was delicious and the servings were very generous. <br br/>The bill came at not sure why but it may have been a weekend surcharge. Great value nonetheless and we'll definitely be back to try their other dishes!"

"Weekly dinners through the plaza and somehow ended at JJ’s. after checking their huge and somewhat confusing menu, we ordered: meeresfruit pancakes, single serve hot pot bulgogi ox dick soup. the restaurant was on the pretty, dark and atmospheric side without tw or K-Pop. with only three other customers round, the vibe was depressed to the least.<br/>Side dishes came with snack size serving from kimchi, caramelized sweet potato cube pasta salat. the sweet potato and pasta were best average, but the kimchi was another story. most Korean restaurants in brisbane bulk buy kimchi from food factories. taste is always on the caretched, acidic, if not happy salty side. the kimchi here was fresh, fragrant with dried seafood flavor and slightly pickled to preserve the Chinese cauliflower sweets. that is by far the best kimchi I had ever in brisbane! total page shell score: br>/ with my mood raised, the meeresfr pfannkuchen came. the generous pizza size served as a pan fried to golden brown with tinted fish, garnel and garlic chicks. the pancake was crispy, slightly oily with mild seafood flavor. the teig was tasty with a pleasant buttery fragrance. it was paired with apple cider vinegar dipping sauce with hot senf, it made an appetit on the meal. br>/ the closest was Ox-Tail soup, which contained thickly cut oxtail meat, thin nudel chopped spring onions, all shimmering in a milky stock. the oxentail meat fell with a large bark taste from the bone tender. the suppe, however, although the meat well supplemented, it was lacking seasoning. br>/ last court for the nite was bulgogi hotpot. the large bowl of the luck contains marinated bark meat, bevel, mushrooms, capsicum corean glass noodles all in a sweet soy soup. the flesh was tender and well marinated. with chewing glass nudel and rice, I was brought to the comforting food area. br/>Services was a little bit of average. the food came fast and the next dishes were refilled without hassle. the waitress was not a happy vegemite and a right impatience at the order. English communication is another area that needs attention. <br br>/ to be honest, we avoid JJ’s for a few years. mainly to do with depressing decoration and dark lighting at nite. to our surprise was the food we tried so far, quite good. we will be sure to revise in the near future. <br > br > > : supplements are complementary. jj’s daily specials offers a good value for money."

"Found it difficult to order as no description on the menu, so no warning what goes on the diner. She asked the counter staff for help, but she was too busy. obviously there was no customer service in this lively restaurant. eating was not too bad, but not especially. the restaurant did not care about the health and safety of customers who are required for the current circumstances; no distance between any table, table cloths are left on the tables, and the worst was that no serviettes / serviettes are provided."

"Like Espresso & Matcha I have frequented all but one restaurant at Warrigal Square. I regularly walk past Woka Woka brimming with hungry diners but I have yet to walk in. Having previously read their menu pasted on the glass window I had my mind set on their $20 Wagyu rump steak tonight. <br>

We are greeted by a friendly waitress at the entrance and led to our table. Unlike some reviewers I find these waitresses happy to engage with diners and it was always service with a smile. This is a happy work environment. My girlfriend decides on a light meal of Won Ton soup noodles ($12.50). Knowing my steak meal would arrive some time after she finishes her soup noodles, I opt instead for the Hainan Chicken Rice, Soup of the Day and Green tea Combo ($14.90). <br>
