"Came here for a nice lazy breakfast and was not disappointed. There was an odd smell around (not their fault), apart from that the atmosphere is very nice. The service was a little slow but attentive. The coffee is nice and strong with a Turkish kind of fell to it. The menu is simple but nice. My wife had the eggs benedict which she loved. I had the big breakfast which again was very nice and satisfying (a VERY generous serving of bacon - cooked perfectly as well), although some sourdough or something would have been nice. Perhaps the most pleasing thing was that without question the eggs were poached to perfection with super runny yolks. The menu was priced competitively and represented good quality and good value."

"Looking and feeling like a burger, we decided to go local and close by visiting 5 boroughs. After looking at the menu online decided, parking was easy just park in the aldi carpark at the back and walk. We ordered the 1/2 ribs, new yorker and fried chicken burger. Service was nice and friendly she looked after us really well. <br/ <br/ The ribs were spot on, tender and fall off the bone, maybe just a little extra sauce. The fried chicken burger my wife really enjoyed and the made on request changes to the burger with no fuss. The new yorker, enjoyed but not one i would order again.<br/ <br/ All in all, for a quick burger with no fuss then check this place out. I would go back again."

"My husband and 11 month old booked this accomodation very last minute for a quick trip as we had to attend a funeral.When we arrived I had a sinking feeling not knowing it was attached to a pub- but I shouldn't have worried at all.The staff were welcoming and friendly and already set up a brand new portacot in our room for our daughter. The room was spacious and we had plenty of room for our daughter to play despite having a portacot in the room. Everything is brand new and the rooms are fully renovated. A continental breakfast was provided in a little cardboard box and you get a free welcome drink card on arrival and 10% off any meals purchased.The hotel has a chef onsite all day and we purchased from the all day menu for our early dinner. Found the meals very reasonably priced and we enjoyed our food.The only negative I had is we had a terrible nights sleep which is no fault of the hotel- we had a man next door that went in and out of his room no less than 5 times periodically throughout the night slamming his door and waking our baby. Also there is no undercover parking - this didn't affect us as we don't have a car but I wouldn't be comfortable parking a car out the back. But overall this accommodation is very good."

"I often used to have breakfast here over the years and there was always lots of toast and a big pile of bacon. Heaps of fried tomato and big fried eggs. Great coffee was part of the attraction and the large meal was good for...that Saturday morning hangover. Things have changed. I had to order twice (forgot my order . The meal was very small inc 1/2 a small tomato !!. I ordered 2 extra hash browns to fill up. (they cut one hash brown in half and served it up as two !!. Coffee was weak and cold. It’s disappointing that the owners are losing long time customers just to save a few pennies."
