"We previously went to the bar and had a great time. On this occasion they rang the night before to delay our booking with no mention of comp for the inconvenience. On the day, they took half an hour to bring our drinks despite the bar being almost empty, the food menu online didn’t match the one in the bar, we ordered olives which we had to remind 3 times to be brought over, we were then brought extra olives which we told would be free then when the bill came they tried to charge us. Drinks were fine but nothing special for the cost. Overall this was exceptionally disappointing."

And just like MC5 is still rocking hard and loud, Trader Vic's is still kicking out Mai Tais and Zombies and London Sours today. This isn't your daddy's tiki bar. It's your freaking granddaddy's tiki bar. It's one of the places that inspired every other tiki bar in the world. It's all that. Ambiance? Ageless tiki chic, naturally. It's a Polynesian pop paradise. Drinks? Heavy on the rum. Sure, the Mai Tai may be made from a mix, but who cares? Just being there is the jam to kick. Didn't see a werewolf with perfect hair drinkin' a piña colada, though. Ah-hoo!"
