"Having eaten at this restaurant before, we were looking forward to a pleasant meal. Unfortunately, the food and service did not live up to the menu hype. The server was quite perky and accommodating, but she failed on two counts: when asked if a fish menu item was wild or farmed, she said she did not know but then went into a long spiel about how they buy sustainable food etc; she finally brought the check but did not return to pick up the credit cards. The food was disappointing, with a few exceptions. The mushroom bisque was delicious. The salad was large but the dressing lacked any flavor or seasoning. The beer batter calamari had a soggy bready batter, not a beer batter, and seemed to have come out of a large bag of frozen product. The duck was served lukewarm, and when sent back was returned with fewer nuggets of duck and the whole meal sort of thrown on the plate. The char was overcooked and bland. Desserts were unappealing so we skipped them."
