"Terrible reception when reserving by telephone followed by an even worse 'welcome' once at the restaurant. They don't like customers with the Passport Gourmand and aren't willing to stretch their rules to accommodate. We were told we were obliged to take one of their set menus (this isn't stipulated in the PG) - which were all Game dishes as it's the hunting season...fine for most but not for me, a vegetarian! Owner so terribly rude and said that if I decided to take a vegetarian ravioli as a main dish it would be a "very long wait." Not willing to put up with such a bad attitude, we walked out and went to another restaurant featured in the PG where we had the most fantastic evening on all accounts. The owner of la vache bleue doesn't deserve customers. Please avoid!!!!"

"Restaurant situé à l'écart de Champéry accessible par le fond de la vallée. Intérieur rustique et chaleureux. Bel accueil et excellente carte variée. En hiver l'accès est un peu difficile selon les conditions climatiques à cause de la pente de la route. La meilleurs façon en hiver est d'y aller à pied ou en raquettes"

"We stopped by this restaurant at the end of our little hiking. I ate a delicious penne gratin with a mix of cheese that made the dish a great surprise. The quality of the bacon used was also perfect. As dessert, a delicious chocolate sundae....This is a place to visit again. Prices are the same as in the rest of the region."
