"We called in here yesterday and we was shocked to see the state of there “fresh” fruit and veg was in. It was awful it looked like it had been there days without anyone checking through it. The woman who served on the butchers counter did not wash her hands after handling the meat before going on to serve us with a cooked fruit pie. Truly awful hygiene is practiced here. The staff are miserable and offer no friendly service at all. This place is a health hazard even the so called fresh mushrooms had given up. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FARM SHOP IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH. "

"Whilst visiting this area we came across this terrific chocolate lounge which demonstrated a skill in presenting chocolate to a very high standard made in the traditional way (soft delicious runny). Very friendly staff and café culture setting was very inviting."

"Called for an early lunch on Wednesday afternoon. It was very busy but luckily managed to get a table. This place is my favourite go to for breakfast or lunch. The guy is a chef… not a cook. The food he turns out… it’s fantastic. More like something you’d get in a fancy London restaurant not a little cafe in Thorne! We ordered quiche , bbq chicken toastie and chicken and leek pie and everything was perfect. All homemade, the chicken in the pie melted in the mouth. Best chips around and my quiche had a really tasty side salad with balsamic glaze. I keep saying I’m going to try a theme night here but haven’t got round to it yet, but it’s definitely something I need to try… the photos look amazing. The waitresses are always really friendly too… very clean establishment…. Best cafe in Yorkshire!!"

"Today for lunch and had a nice meal, my fiance had fajita huhn burger and he was really impressed it was actually chicken breast and not frozen huh, was vegetarian / pescatarian I was happy to see I could have done something other than fish and chips or a jack obst burger that is for me and I had a delicious vegetarian lasagne and it was enjoyable"
