"Stopped in for morning tea and all up we enjoyed the experience. We sat along the bar on stools at the window to enjoy the river views. The coffee had a really strong almost nutty flavour which I quite enjoyed. The chocolate milkshake was yummy and came in a large jar which was cute. The chocolate fudge brownie actually tasted like fudge and was thoroughly enjoyable. Having your order called out and then going to collect it maybe wasn't something I enjoyed but I think the atmosphere made up for it. It did seem they were understaffed as our coffees took quite some time and there were a lot of tables that went uncleaned the whole time we were there. Perhaps even putting one more staff member on and having tables clean and having coffee delivered to the table would make for a perfect coffee experience. Overall we enjoyed the visit to the Depot while visiting Kempsey."

"The people running this hotel are lovely but totally let down by the cook. We were looking forward to a great steak but the scotch fillet was rump and whilst I asked for medium I got well, well, well done. In fact I have never seen a steak so over cooked. The veggies were good.....and so was the mushroom sauce. Hopefully it was a holiday cook....."
