"Unfortunately, it has now also come so far in saarbrücken that you have to find a restaurant that is open on Monday. at least if it should not be a jack, but a decent one. on the occasion of her birthday yesterday our daughter wanted to lead the family to eat and my wife literally called the finger until we finally got a table for the evening in the Tabacs mill. our first choice was not the tabacs mill, but our usual gastronomic outlet points, even those beyond the border, were either closed or depleted. when we arrived here with five people (daughter, son-in-law, son-in-law, my wife and I) the beer garden was full; there was nothing more for us, but at least we didn't have to sit in the so-called halle, which I absolutely hate, but came down in the right smaller dining room. on the first table, but directly opposite the tresen. we would have been back. environment: simple in a brewhouse. the most beautiful it is in the summer outside in the beer garden with view of the tabacsweiher. otherwise I have turned to the environment in previous reports and here well-meaned three stars to give. cleanliness: there is nothing to complain about; three and a half stars. service: the service force did us really sorry; four people who literally ran the hacks were on the stake yesterday. with full beer garden and many guests in the interior, that is just too little. the waiting times, with us on the table on which a young lady was responsible, were of course also long to very long. it took a long time before the menus were there, and for a longer time we had to wait for the ordered feeds. apparently there was also a tight fit in the kitchen. we have made good miene a bad game, but hardly any left. for our maids did them as much as possible and do not lose their good mood at all this, I forgive half a star extra and therefore land on three and a half stars for the service area. 1 (0,5l eur 4,20) apple juice choir (0,5l eur 4,40) malt beer (0,33l eur 2,50) and espresso for eur 2,20. our son ordered as the only one an appetizer, namely the heavenly greeting (kartoffel buffer with sliced smoked salmon and sliced salmon for eur 9.80; if it had also been given as a main dish for eur 14,80) and as a main dish the fish salad (bunte leaf salad in vinaigrette with giant vongarnel and salmon). daughter and son-in-law decided after longer consultation together for Wiener schnitzel (sarte kalbsschnitzel, with fresh white brot paniert and golden yellow in the pan fried, pommes frites and supplementsalat; eur 21.00) my wife took the saarbrücker duet (crumbed homemade sausage salad with cows above all, he praised the kartoffel buffer. my wife found nothing at her farm, a cubed variant of the Saarland Trinity (that has nothing to do with besides sausage and bark salate as the third component, nor sliced lily salate). the daughter was satisfied with her foldable carving. to the positive. a man, our son-in-law, was with his sprinkled carving anything but satisfied. he cut a probierhappen for me and both came after tasting on the same result: prefabricated prefabricated TK goods. In addition, these carvings were not freshly roasted golden yellow in the pan, but were prefried and only briefly heated under the salamander before they landed on the plate. all just a culinary masterpiece. of the service asked if everything had been in order, our son-in-law expressed his thoughts clearly and clearly; how not to expect, differently discussed. I've been making a bun for a long time; I didn't come to a solution. for me this was simple and grasped the breast of a food from a German mass breeding and grilled until it had also lost the last rest of the juice. I gave my wife the grilltomate. the anointed were al dente, until o.k, but read all the traces of sage missing, and the fried rucola tasted as fried rucola just as tasty. more than two and a half stars this time I can not forgive for eating and drinking best; really bad. Price/performance ratio: in past, in order, now with some. the white carving in found quality eur 21.00 is a backness, and it belongs to a lot of chuzpe to demand for the so-called eur 17.50, you could almost have the impression that thomas over this price breaks from the insolvenz in self-responsibility, in which his brewery is currently located, wants to get out faster than until the end of the year. Price/performance assessment: currently not more than two and a half stars. P.S within the high-fracture should only be affected by the insolvency brewery, but not the gastro plants to the boots, brown boots, tabaks mill and unclean, where the weed is already overwritten to the women's break. As long as the kitchen performance remains at the current level, I do not see any plausible floor that comes back."

"Unimaginable unfriendly operation. when I wanted to reorder a coffee, I was initially completely ignored and then cut off that the service would probably have enough to do. there would be a total of 5 guests who had already received their order. in no case recommended!"

"Once in the first quarter of the current year we had wanted to eat mussels here; we had failed on site. I mean to remember that at that time I was swung on goose bumps, even my heart lovest had ordered something non-shelled. When the new desire for the mussel dinner in the Linde was brought to me by her, of course, I did not stray my momernt and then left her the call for the reservation. Yesterday we arrived at Linde shortly after 12:30; we were a bit late thanks to a road full lock, because we don't know each other so well in SB Bischmisheim, but on a somewhat worn-out path we somehow managed to get through to Linde. We got table no. 13 and were well served there by an older lady (the hostess and a young and very lively Italian. And this time we also remained steadfast with our bivalve; Mme. Simba ordered mussels à la creme and I ordered the mussels Seemann. Both dishes were equally priced with EUR 18.50 each and I ordered a portion of Pommes Frites for EUR 3.00. She drank apple choir for EUR 2.20. I would normally have taken a dry white wine, apparently a Riesling or Grauburgunder. But after I noticed the advertisements for Karlsberg Bockbier, it became for me two Bock (0.3l EUR 2.80 . He was very silly, I have to say that. At one of the side tables were two old ladies with their shells; otherwise, as far as I could see it, shells were not too much in demand, instead Zander or the Linde Rumpsteaks, known for their meat quantity and quality, seemed to be the racers. The coming events took place at the second table; all that was indispensable on the table was like water glasses, flower vase, knife, tea light etc. was cleared. Even the stand with salt and pepper shaker as well as the Maggi bottle, which seems to be vital in the Saarland, had to believe and soften. For this, two rechauds were built, two large vessels for accommodating the leeer shells and two large soup plates along with saucers and spoons. And a little later drum swirls: the tealights under the Rechauds are lit and two large black lids with cup spoons are worn at our table, a bowl with the pommes frites, this in the long thin form. They were very crispy and tasty, but I would have liked a little better in Belgian format. We were glad not to have ordered two portions of Pommes Frites; the second portion would have been too much for us. The mussel gods were both filled up to the edge with shells, whose broth still evaporated vigorously. The different shell dishes differed as well as not. And that the Moules marinière, here referred to as mussels sailor, besides chopped onion, thyme, chopped rag and fine-weighed chives as well as white wine, pear and salt are a lot of moth pencils at the start, I have never seen as a shell friend. No matter, they tasted just like the Moules à la crème of my wife. In contrast to her, I could not spoon my mussel ud: totally salted and peppered. Too bad, but for that I have to take off a star from the actually planned four.At once a part of the shells were still in the delicate baby age, say small to really small. But surely before the end of the season we come back to the mussel dinner and hopefully we will have to do it with loud adults : ."

"I visited on April 5th with a friend. It is located in a fairly remote area which adds to the charm. We arrived early, and were seated at once. Reservations are recommended. It was not crowded when we arrived, but it soon started filling up as it is very popular with the locals. We paced ourselves and shared 3 liters of craft beer and 2 large Flammkuchen. The service was friendly and efficient. The beer and Flammkuchen were delicious and arrived at our table quickly. I recommend ordering one at a time. It was a bit more than the two of us could eat, but we enjoyed the leftovers. The beer, food, and ambiance are great. I highly recommend this restaurant and hope to return on my next visit to Germany."
