"I really love this place as it has plenty of outdoor seating where you can smoke. The food is a mixture of good old English grub and Thai Cuisine. The prices are very reasonable and the food is plentiful. The English breakfast with good sausages and Back bacon. They also do a good selection of Roast dinners daily, so you don't have to wait until Sunday. The staff are very friendly and quickly available to serve you. Normally they sell Guinness and a selection of Ciders, along with a local selection of bottled beers. I would definitely recommend this place, whenever you get a little homesick and a longing for English food or a tasty selection of Thai food."

"If you find yourself in Bangkok with nothing to do and just want to kick back with a cold drink in your hand, great food on your plate and watch the world go up and down the river, there is no better place than Jack 's Bar. The staff are very friendly, the beer is ice cold and the food is first class. If you go early afternoon, then sit next to the busy river watching boats ferry people across to the shopping centres and hotels. The only problem arrives when the sun starts to set, streaming into seats and making it quite hot. The best option is to book the riverside seats for when the sun goes down behind the buildings and the air begins to cool a bit. The food can take a while to reach you depending on how busy they are BUT don 't let that put you off as it is worth the wait. A must visit place."
