"We were there on the Swiss national holiday and Altdorf was a big party. Stalls with eating and stands with goods all through the city center and according masses of people. Looking for a beverage, we found the beergarden of the Schutzenmatt, woderfully shadowed by an old chestnut. It was nice and silent, phantastic for sitting and talking. The interieur of the restaurant maybe is a little bit outdated, but the beergarden is a wonderful place at a warm, sunny day ! Next time again..."
