"Das gemütliche kleine Restaurant, gleich neben der Teufelsbrücke, dem Suworow Denkmal, dem Einstieg zum Diavolo Klettersteig und direkt am Schöllenenrundweg ist nun die zweite Saison wieder offen. Ich liebe es auf der Sonnenterrasse zu sitzen und bei einem "Kaffee Kräuter" der Reuss zu zuschauen wie sie tief unten durch die Schlucht stürzt. Der Kuchen und das Gebäck waren entweder selbst oder von einem lokalen Bäcker frisch gemacht. Auf jeden Fall hats geschmeckt.Wer alte Waffen liebt, sollte einen Blick ins Lokal machen. An der Wand hängen einige alte Waffen die bei den kriegerischen Handlungen rund um die Brücke zu Zeiten Napoleons und Suworows zum Einsatz kamen.Die freundliche Bedienung durch zwei einheimische Damen wusste ich zu schätzen und das Essen bei andern Gästen sah wirklich lecker aus.Wie ich schrieb liegt das Restaurant direkt am mehr oder weniger neuen Schöllenen Rundgang. Einmal über die alte Teufelsbrücke, dann durch einen ehemaligen Militärstollen auf der andern Seite wieder hoch und über einen gut gesicherten Weg zurück zum Parkplatz braucht etwa 20 Minuten Zeit. Zum Einstiegspunkt des Diavolo Klettersteigs ist es auch nur etwa eine Minute. Der Aufstieg mit anschliessendem Abstieg nach Andermatt, an der Kaserne vorbei und über die Strassengallerie zurück zum Parkplatz braucht etwa 3 Stunden wenn man gemütlich geht. Wer den Klettersteig gegen die Uhr läuft: Vom Einstieg bis zum Ausstieg sind 30 Minuten bereits über dem Rekord."

"Firstly, the food is incredible. The best sushi and sashimi I have ever eaten.The problem is that unless you go for the set menu, then your food will not arrive in your typical starter - main - desert fashion. Although again this isn't a big issue, we were never told this by our waiting staff. This meant we had people receiving their main courses before anybody else had got any food. The explanation given was that there is only one chef, which again was probably true, but we were only told this after we had all ordered our food, and we left sitting around waiting for it to arrive.In summary, incredible food, but you might have to wait for it."

"The rooms are refurbished and very nice. However, it's was very noisy as our room was right at the street. Even with closed windows you could hear all the noise. Last but not least, and that's why I only give 3 stars: price value. We payed 270 CHF per night and the breakfast was very poor. No eggs, poor coffee and poor variaty of food"

"Because of having been told by the Chedi Hotel that the bar was not accessible for non-residents of the hotel and for passers-by would only be open at noon time, we decided at 11.15 am on 1st January 2014 to get out of the freezing...cold and instead went to the Badus Hotel hotel opposite to the Chedi. The restaurant in this hotel is nothing extraordinary, but we were first impressed by the welcome and friendliness of the staff. Although most of the tables were reserved for a tour group, we were given a table and chose our dishes from the many varieties of food selections, i.e. One Cordon Bleu and one Lamb fillet with Prune Chutney and Spiced Rice. Both dishes were prepared to perfection in texture, taste and presentation. Last, but not least: the price cannot be topped anywhere. We can highly recommend this restaurant."

"Charming and wonderful! Fondue was so delicious and funny. Great ambience, picturesque and Jose’ was so friendly and welcoming. Let us hope that we will return to Andermatt in the future, we will definitely return!"
