"Visited for a Sunday Roast with my partner. well the service to start was poor, poured red wine into a white wine glass, lemonade was flat, so choose to have a bottle, still charged considering the glass prior was flat!! a bottle, the staff...owner... said well next week the tax goes down so will be cheaper!!! Great customer service.. Not!!!! The Roast was ok. But not what you would expect for near on presentation very poor... cheese sauce just poured all over the vegetables which were very soft, the parsnips were white like boiled... The pub it self was covered in areas with cob webs, and not nice smells coming from staff, and not at all friendly... And prior to starting our meal complaints from other visitors had already been given to staff, and even a visitor had advised us prior to eating. Well to say the least I wont be visiting this place again, and advise others to be cautious if you wish to eat at this pub... with no happy friendly customer service and near on microwaved heated food... with no presentation. Such a shame.. when this happens but dont want other people having a disappointing visit... and not like it's cheap!!!"

"Food was good when the kitchen had corrected the order (we asked for chicken burgers, no cheese and it came with cheese and steak with salad instead of chips and steak came with chips! Beverages were taken from the final invoice, which was estimated!"

"Amazing fish and chips. we live in fleet and normally go to Churchill but they are terrible service so we trued here. well glad we did. Great staff and everyone knows what they are doing.Food was fab, still piping hot when got home.. Amazing cod and chips were so so tasty. Will be back ASAP. cheers guys"

"This was the time we have visited the Fox Hounds as our son has recently moved locally . The first time , I actually got my Husband to choose for me off the menu “ surprise “ me as there was so much choice I honestly could have chosen anything ! The food wine/Beer were lovely we were glad that our son had such a good , friendly local pub to visit . We returned last night with the other siblings again had a warm welcome lovely food , with no complaints whatsoever . We took part in the Sunday night quiz again, which we all enjoyed we won this time , which allowed a bar credit which we took off our Bar tab . Winners all around . Will definitely return every time we are in the area visiting our son hopefully he will make some local friends , so that he can also visit regularly ! X"
