"What a splendid meal and experience. We just left after celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and enjoyed this meal and the vibe so much. The boss is the right kind of boss and the beef rib is worth it treat yourself to that and a pickle back! Then even more with a banoffee pie and an old fashioned!"

"The Pulled Pork Burger. WOW, AMAZING! I'm usually hesitant ordering pork, because I am very fussy on cooking pork, but these guys nailed it. Super soft bun, huge amounts of perfectly cooked and pulled pork and just the right amount of filling. Can't wait to go back to Canberra and get another."

"We have always enjoyed the previous arrangement where one could order a two or three course meal for a set price. We found the change to the menu disappointing. However, there were plenty of options and those that we chose we enjoyed. The service was excellent in some regards, and poor in others. One waitperson leaned across in front of other diners to place a plate on the table. This is a basic flaw that should not occur. This person was also perfunctory when asking about any allergies. This is a pity as I have been served by them before and found them very pleasant and helpful. The other two waiters were very diligent. Another glitch was rectified quickly when our salad did not arrive. The seating outside was lovely. This was the first occasion on which we had the option of doing so, it would be good to have this option clear when booking. Braddon Merchant remains on my list of restaurants that I am happy to return to."

"Yat Bun Tong goes far beyond the expectations for a dumpling house. Under Eddie's tutelage, a friendly staff will guide you thru the extensive, wide ranged yummy-looking pictures of their house specialties. Prices are 10% higher than an average Asian option, but worth every penny.The Shanghai Pan buns is a must try half-fried version of the juicy steamed Shanghai dumplings, that can hold more juice due to its thicker skin (it's a bun, not the regular dumpling skin), in a well served portion. Elsewhere you get 6 dumplings per portion of Shanghai, while here it comes with 10.All dishes served with Bok Choy will present the vegetable cooked to perfection, all-buttery-yet-lightly-crunchy, showing the level of care in the prep of the very basic items.The deep-fried battered options come nicely fried and crispy (not oily and soggy).Recommended: Shanghai Pan buns, Braised Duck with Vegetables, Chinese Mushroom with Vegetables, Eggplant Hot Pot.5 stars to Eddie, Yang Yang and staff."
