"We have in buxton on a Saturday night for a week stay, we chose this pub for our first night meal, not disappointed, found a table to watch the football and the eating was excellent, so well we came back on Wednesday when we went to a beautiful older couple who lived in front of site and are regular visitors here. so all in all, good choice of beer, great eating, beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff, will return at my next visit to buxton."

"I love these weather spoons! Just one of the best I was also, eating is always perfect, the personal is friendly and linguistic it is a great place to go! even though there are a few regular customers who ruin the experience, a small tattooed girl with pink hair and her two friends I once saw that one of them eat a magazine! they are loudly despicing and creepy, flooring as I said before it's a wonderful place, with wonderful eating, but some things are just from the staff."

"Called in so late on Sunday it looked as if the kitchen had started to close. The fabulous staff still happily provided us with a Sunday roast and veg pie, both meals were really well cooked and gratefully received. If you are looking for good, plentiful food then our experience would suggest you couldn't do much better than visit this lovely pub."

"Very friendly girl behind the bar, I had the Surf and Turf, true to their name. Big steak, the Shrimp are not Jumbo. Grilled Asparagus would go great with this dish instead of their House Veggies. Hence only 4 stars. PS very nice presentation..."

"Lovely restaurant on the pedestrianised shopping street in Buxton. They managed to fit in our party of 11 and 3 dogs. The food was delicious and came very quickly. It was good to be able to order from the table, although both WiFi and mobile connection were patchy. Huge varied menu catered to vegans, veggies and omnis."

"What a great place we have convened on 9th juni 17 at 2.20 for eating, so our order first took because it was close to the end of lunch, then we ordered the drinks all reasonable price when the food came the fish was like whales the chips were hand cut and good portion overall, would recommend the waterloo inn each of us"
