"What a great place we have convened on 9th juni 17 at 2.20 for eating, so our order first took because it was close to the end of lunch, then we ordered the drinks all reasonable price when the food came the fish was like whales the chips were hand cut and good portion overall, would recommend the waterloo inn each of us"

"What a great place, stayed there 2 nights in caravan, price per night really good with electric hookup. Pub itself is small so need to book for food, all the staff are really nice n friendly and the food is to die for, it's superb, proper chips, not out the bag, melt in the mouth fish, hot double spicy chicken burger, game pie, sausage of the week which changes, also has Quorn option, Belgian waffle n ice-cream with toffee sauce, apple crumble n custard, good portions sizes aswell. Couple of real ales on also which change, pub is also dog friendly not that we have dog . Will definitely be returning. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Ham Egg and Chips, Battered Fish and Chips, Chips And"

"Used the resturant only. The staff were friendly and helpful but sadly the food let them down. We were after a simple Ploughmans Lunch which we were advised they didn't do then after ordering a more informed member of staff identified a very similar product on the menu. We had ordered a cream tea which when it eventually came after asking about it, the scones looked like Americian breakfast biscuits one was fruit the other looked like a plain scone but was cheese they were served only with jam and clotted cream. To me this is very strange a cheese scone/biscuit with jam and cream. When questioned they said they rotated the scones but never advise customers and thought it normal. Hopefully they will in future ask or advise customers. Definately not a place to drop in and expect normal food. I was offered a discount due to not liking a cheese scone/biscuit with jam and cream."

"Friendly place. Perfectly located as a stop on a walk. The beef casserole and Mafe were lovely. We were even treated to some lovely guitar playing in the beer garden."
