"I came here just wanting to try something new and really didn't expect how good the pizza was going to be especially at the price they charged. Very solid pick for pizza when throwing a small event. Also, they really pack the toppings on the pizza."

"First time coming to Dog Haus and it passed my expectations. The price for the food for what you ordered is reasonable as a single burger can fill you. After devouring the monster of a chicken sandwich as two Nashville hot chicken tenders were placed between two four pieces of Hawaiian bread. Topped off with four pickles and a handful of coleslaw the flavor profile of the sweetness of the bread with the savory taste of the chicken tender combined it so well. I 100% anyone coming here to relax and enjoy the Dog Haus!"

"Adding a few specifics, none of which are good:Onion rings are listed as battered on GrubHub they are not, they are breaded (hard no this should be a crime . I believe they deep fry their bacon, at least some of the time. This is a problem in sandwiches, because deep fried bacon is never anything close to flat. A BLT will not assemble well with scrunched up bacon and may fall apart (mine certainly did, today . Special requests (bread type, use salt, extra crispy fries, etc. continue to have roughly a 60% chance of being ignored. Skip the chocolate cake (almost the same price as Brent's, 1/4 the size .Damn good burger though. Seriously one of the best burgers out there, imho. The primary reason I keep going back."

"I liked the biryani though not very good but good to have it away from home. I prefer the Awadh style biryani but this was tasty. The Apollo Fish Manchurian was tasty but I like it a little more crispy."

"I used to live in Sherman Oaks and was a regular at the Gyu Kaku before there were so many chains; however, now I moved closer to the Canoga restaurant and I rarely go. So my review is specific to the Canoga branch. We love the food at this restaurant in general. The food here is good. We especially liked the side sauces, marinades on yaki-shabu beef, and the Gyu Kaku salad. In some places in which you grill the meat it sticks to the grill but not here. I do however feel like outside weekday lunch combos and happy hour that the food is a little too pricey. We paid around $65 for two on the weekend plus tip. Everything on the weekend is a la carte and adds up quickly. What we didn’t like at this branch was the general experience. For reference we were there on a Saturday afternoon. The area around the hostess table was cramped and crowded. The hostess did not welcome guests and disappeared for a bit with no word. So there were several people waiting to be seated looking at each other wondering what happened. They do have the texting system which was good because we were able to visit the Sanrio store in the mall without feeling claustrophobic waiting. Once we were seated, the waitress quickly took our order but it felt rushed and we felt bad asking for things. Kind of like when you’re in the drive thru and you feel bad bothering the already over burdened employee by asking for more things. It felt like they were working in such small spaces trying not to hit guests or drop food. One guy was holding five drinks in his hands spilling some of it trying to squeeze by the other tables. Our waitress was serving at least five tables and one of them had six people. We asked for forks but didn’t get them. We also gave up asking for more refills. They needed more employees for sure but I felt they didn’t have the room for them. Our check took about 20 minutes after we were finished eating. I wished they had one of those iPad looking things that let people pay at the table. My daughter was super ansy. I saw more than one mom trying to keep her kid contained in the small space. So I definitely would not recommend this place to someone who has less than an hour for lunch or even people who have restless children on the weekend. There’s no child menu or coloring to keep them busy like in some restaurants. There’s very little space for strollers. Since it’s at the mall full of families, I felt it was lost potential. As others mentioned the decor needs updating and the bathrooms desperately needed some TLC. Honestly, I really feel like they could do with an interior designer to make the space function better. It seemed like portions of the restaurant were super cramped and other parts were unused. Maybe put the bar area in the back versus right up front where they need space for restaurant seating and waiting? Overall, the food didn’t disappoint however the general upkeep, service and layout of the restaurant needs a little help. Also, if you want to save money chose weekday lunches versus the weekend where the same food is much pricier."
