"We ate here several times during our stay at the hotel. Very convenient to just go to the restaurant in the hotel instead of by car to Chamonix or Le Praz. Friendly waiters. A little short options on the menu especially for...vegetarian (a dish) and children (no more specific), but they offered to do simple pasta with butter for the girls or half the day menu. Daily three courses for 29 euros, which were all right the nights we had. The restaurant offers some meat dishes and some fish dishes and some local savoie dishes. Good selection of appetizers and desserts. The beef file was very good after one of my daughter. The vegetarian option was not good. The cheese fondue was really good. The raclette was okay, but cheese, potatoes and salad doesn't make dinner after me. Limited selection of wine through glasses. Delicious dessert."

"This buvette/refuge is a 45 minute walk above Le Lavancher and overlooks the Mer de Glace. The food is traditional french mountain food and there is cold draft beer which can be rare on the mountain. It is less frequented than Buvette Floria on the other side of the valley. The service is very good. I'm told there is a 6 bed dormitory if you want to stay the night. The view is spectacular looking down the valley all the way to Les Houches. It is a relatively easy walk up but steep in a few places. The path is in good condition and well sign posted. It is only open in Summer and best to book."

"It's a very good restaurant but a little expensive. The kitchen is japonizing and therefore refined. I started with a mozzarella asparagus salad. Refreshment and fragrance. Then wok of shrimp very tasteful and light. For the hot strawberry finish with pistachio ice. A pleasure."

"How can one of the most badly run bars in the world get one of the best cover bands in the world have them to play for them at the apres ski?? It is a mystery The bar is a mess no jugs or glasses,...they have no change if you pay cash, this is going on for weeks! And i am not joking sometimes they do not even have beer!!! The guys in the band are brilliant and do everything they can to create a good apres ski atmosphere, but the bar there are no words for. This place is empty all they except when no limits are playing. Horrible place with the best music in town. Sounds crazy but it is reality"
