"Set in the old carriage works you are set for a very different setting.Being so big I can imagine it might feel a bit empty but we were there for a work function and it was perfect.Good selection of beers on tap and the staff were very friendly. Finger food we had was good, the black burgers sliders were a standout."

"We had a great stay and feed as a family of four. We organised a couple of rooms and a great dinner as a night out of town for my wife’s birthday. It is a quaint little hotel, renovated brilliantly, and puts out good food. Makes for a great overnight in the country. Karin even organised for us to hike Mt Elephant at a time when it wasn’t open."

"Guys, I have never written a bad review, but the burgers were terrible tonight. A kind of like super poet cheaper sausage hammer, either prepared or frozen and then called again or something. We left most of them on our plates - a burger must be pretty bad before that happens! The fries were somehow cold and greasy, as they might have been restored. For $ 17 a massive branches. Double disappointed because I heard good things. The service was good and apologetic, but they said that there was nothing they could do, and so they were. Not the fault of the wait. Sad face. Get it boys together!"

"Doesn't look like much from the outside but.....A group of us - 12 people - ate there more than once in a 3 day time frame - we sampled just about every catagory on the menu - even the wine. The food was excellant, the prices were very good & our servers were very good & very friendly."
