"Absolutely outstanding service with a smile and a happy style of communication. The place used to have the best burgers south of Lucerne, completing the menu with a crisp mix of fresh ideas and great cooking skills. Mid August '23 left a sobering impression of a kitchen on a budget , buzzword-focused dishes, and a margin-clinging choice of wines which somehow won 't deliver. Maybe hopefully just a dip in the curve. Again, Service is over the top and the place is overeall more than lovable! Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"

"Nice decor, food was ok. Very over priced. For the price they charge you think they would give you some bread/rolls on the table. $50 entree doesn't include a salad... We ordered a bottle of wine by pointing to it on the menu. (Menu was in German) Waitress brought us a much more expensive bottle that we were surprised with when we got the check. After eating she cleared some of the dirty plates and we sat there for 30 minutes wanting coffee and dessert. After getting her attention she cleaned off the rest of the table and vanished again. We decided to skip coffee and dessert and ask for the check. That's when were got the surprise of the more expensive wine along with mark up to Euros. All of the prices were listed in Francs, but they charge you in Euros at the price listed for Francs. I told the waitress that was not fair and we were not happy with the deception. She didn't care. Also, salad bar had bugs flying around it. Skip anything with shrimp... it smelled and tasted terrible."

"At the top of the Furenalp cable car, nice place with a nice lady running it. We had coffee and cake, the lady sugested we tast the "Keiserschmarrne" and she was right, it was delicuse!"

"Tucked away on Dorfstrasse this was a nice find to get a change from the usual.Its expensive however. We opted for no starter to reduce the cost. I had a Szechuan chicken dish which was very nice and perhaps a little spicier than its UK counterpart. Boiled rice was the order of the day (again due to cost).All in all, pleasant enough and it made a nice change. It wasn't however exceptional especially given the prices."
