"Visited Morcega Petiscaria for a drink when we visited Evora. It’s located in a very cosy street full of small bar/restaurants. We enjoyed a beer a soda in the street. Service was attentive. Can’t speak for the food, but the menu looks promising! Would definately visit for dinner as well, place got a good vibe :"

"To be truthful we chose this restaurant because it was raining and it was near our hotel. But we were pleased we did. We shared a fish stew (not sure of the name) and really enjoyed it. Service was pleasant and obligiing, and it had the feel of a family run establshment, with reasonable prices. Having read other reviews I must confess I am surprised. Perhaps time to give it a try? We couldn't fault it."

"They serve raw meat! Do not eat here. We ordered 3 bifanas and 2 out of the 3 had pieces that weren’t cooked. When I told the waitress all she said was “it happens”. They didn’t apologise at all and were so rude especially the waitress. They should be closed down."

"We needed lunch and searched for something from the way and away from the tourist crowd. we came across this very small caffe restaurant on a side street. there are over tables, and most were full of local lunches. we decided to stay and were not disappointed. the owner was amazing, professional and friendly. we had a huge tuna salad and a wonderful omlette with garnel. eating was very good, the service was good, the atmosphere was good. safe a place where they feel warm and invited."

"We came for a late dinner, and stayed for a few drinks until the end of the night. With the nice atmosphere and great music, this bar is a bit of a hidden treasure. Don't be fooled by a shut door. You might have to ring the bell to get in. Come sit at the bar and be entertained by the owner/barkeep's stories and dry humor. You shouldn't miss this gem in Evora."

"Tucked into courtyard with displays of cork art, it appears that this small cafe only serves coffee...but they do much more. The lentil salad was delicious alongside a cool rose wine. Sitting in the courtyard was an oasis, with a few tables set for dining under a canopy of trees. Lovely place for lunch."
