"I came back here against my better judgement after my last poor experience. The customer service last time was very poor. Rude girls behind counter. I also had a very small piece of fish with a small portion of fries and small salad for $15.40 with handcut fries. The fish didnt taste great either. On a positive the fries have always tasted good just not enough. This time i got a decent size fish pictured below and tiny fries and salad. Not happy for the price, needs to be more chips. Customer service poor again, there were 6 children working in the kitchen. Order took 25 mins in a quiet restaurant which i thought was a bit too long. 2 other separate groups also showed their dissatisfaction with the place in relation to their wait time and food quantity, one just ordered chips. This place has gone downhill, it used to be good. Dont think ill be back after the second disappointing experience."

"Myself and the family come here for lunch on a Sunday after hearing good reviews about it. I ordered steak chips and salad wife had chicken schnitzel chips and salad and teenage girls ordered chicken & avo wraps.Steak was ok couldn't really fault it apart from the $31 I've had better $10steaks at other pubs.Wife said schnitzel was a bit dry but enjoyed it and the girls like the wraps but couldn't finish them so I got to finish them and they were quite nice.So with a milk shake and a couple of cokes that lunch cost just under $100 I wouldn't rave about the food, like I said earlier we've been to our local and eaton for under $60 and it's been a better feed."

"1 for customer service and another for serving an average dish. I understand that this is a BBQ joint and that's where the gold would've been on the board, but if you have something in the menu that you cannot pour your passion or heart into it - it's best not to have it on the menu at all. I ordered a sizzling dish of marinated pork - when it was served I was shocked to see and taste dry cuts of pork. No sauce, no sizzle, stone plate was not hot - it was basically cold. Additionally I did not expect a rice dish such as that to be served with French fries (which were not even warm or seasoned to being with). Some of their drinks are done in-bar, have ordered the house lemon lime and bitters. What came to our table was basically just a sprite, barely saw or tasted any bitter limes. The other dish we ordered was a little step up, good sized whole octopus soup with decent flavour. The meat was soft and tender but still somewhat retained it's chewiness which was good in a way, however no wow factor present. I would still come back but would stick to the BBQ side of things. In summary, if you serve dishes that are not 100% - does it belong in your menu?"

"Had my daughters 17th there, very quick service, very casual dining, something for everyone. The staff bought us Churro's with a candle for her birthday cake ! Wings are great value and I love the burger, very unique. Mexican soft drinks were good too."

"Overall there is only one 2 for reasons, we ordered all variations of meat, all good, the baffalo chicken, but it was only roasted chicken, with sweet cool sauce at 6 pieces 11 . but still all nice. only the problem would be the...staff not in the position to communicate a point a little hostile, I went around and looked all these reviews of negative points, not surprised all of the low-skilled workers, aggression, hostile, can not even complain. for me it would be a racist situation, ess club dressing code says not to wear strings that I can understand, but then came the infamous pissy staff and begin to explain in a way that can otherwise avoid seems very hostile. then I looked around the crowded place to check if someone wears strings and saw other 3 men and the half of the women they wore."
