"Total impression: The sun is an Italian pizzeria that is operated as a family business (father at the sink, mother in the kitchen, son in a pizza oven, daughter as a service. The guest room has a manageable size (estimated for about 60 70 people) and is well filled especially on weekends. In the summer you can also sit outdoors and the parking spaces in front of the restaurant are revised as a beer garden. Service: You always receive a warm welcome. Even if the restaurant is full, it never has to wait extremely long for drinks or food. You're always busy. Food: As an Italian restaurant it offers typical Italian cuisine, especially pizzas, pasta dishes, fish, mussels and the famous Italian meat dishes. Everything is freshly prepared and very tasty. Special desires (instead of mushrooms prefer Pepperonies on pizza, the shells please extra sharp, .. are happy and especially served at no extra cost. Finally there is a Ramazzotti or Grappa for digestion at the expense of the house. If there is something to criticize, the restaurant always offers the same menu, and not as often other Italians offer special day meals (e.g. a special fish dish when the fisherman has such a offer). Until a few years ago it was still a German restaurant, then for a short time a Hungarian before it works as an Italian pizzeria. The establishment itself is largely the old one, so the ambience of a German restaurant with some Italian pictures on the wall is. Although everything is clean, and the tables are always beautifully covered, but in one place or another (e.g. the seat covers of the chairs and benches would be a renovation. As already mentioned, summers are used as beer gardens. Although some wooden palms are used as an optical border to the road, a Mediterranean flair does not occur. The parking lot remains. Price/performance ratio: Prices are in the usual price level for this area. The sections are sufficient."

"After some time we were back in the larger circle in Gasthof Filseck. What has changed: The menu has become clearer (to avoid what shrinks word). The inconvenience to request an extra charge for reorders has now also been found in Filsecke. We haven't noticed the last visit. At least standard products should be offered with two supplements to choose from, e.g. carvings with late zle or pommes and onion rust roasts with late zle or roast potatoes. The long waiting period has not changed. Only when the first drinks arrive, it takes 10 minutes. The economy is devastating because most guests would probably have ordered the second beer (or other drinks) during this waiting period. Until the food comes, it takes half an hour. Probably all three mentioned points are guilty of the lack of person in the kitchen and during the operation. Too bad because the quality of food is still very good. But unfortunately no better assessment than the last time, on the contrary, with price / leading one half point less because of the extra cost policy."

"The Gaststätte Zum Rössle is located in the older part of Gingen, almost hidden in a small side street, so there are hardly any strangers except the locals. In particular, since the Rössle, which is run in the family business, was opened only on Sundays and otherwise only on pre-order. We are always welcome, with the host and its guests all know each other. The Gaststätte Zum Rössle is a pure Vesper economy and offers mainly cold dishes such as sausage salads, dispersing plates etc. Only a few hot dishes such as acid spices or mirror eggs are on the map. No gastronomic highlights can be expected, but they are always fresh and tasty. Simple and rustic – wooden tables and wooden chairs, as expected from an older restaurant. The facility also has a few years on the bump, but all Picobello clean. The sanitary facility was recently completely renovated. Price/performance ratio The sections are extremely large and the prices are very moderate. The Swabian Sausage Salad costs 5,50 EUR, the wheat beer 2,50 EUR."
