"I ate here because it was recommended by my hotel. I was spending the night before my flight out the next day and my hotel was a reasonably priced one in Pellendorf. This restaurant has a rather extensive menu with the obligatory pasta and pizza. There was an inner courtyard which is where all the customers were seated (although there was also a lot of seating indoors). I ordered a dish with pasta/cheese/lunchmeat and there wasn't much lunchmeat included (I had hoped for some protein). This restaurant serves beer, I recommend trying Radlinger while in Austria (a low alcohol beer with what tastes like lemonade mixed in). This was close to my hotel so it fit the bill. You are perfectly welcome to order tap water in Austria at a restaurant and they will bring it without charging you and without giving you funny looks (unlike Germany). This was a reasonably priced restaurant with decent food."

"Gehobene Gasthausatmosphäre mit ausgezeichneter Speisenqualität zu moderaten Preisen. Vielfältiges Speisenangebot, da sollte jeder etwas finden. Jeder von uns 9 Personen hat etwas anderes gegessen - alle waren sehr zufrieden. Die Bestellung wurde rasch aufgenommen und die Speisen zügig serviert - da gab es nichts zu bemängeln, wir werden sicher wieder kommen!"

"The restaurant has few tables, so it is booked in high season. menu is very bad (2 suppen; 7-8 main dishes and 3 desserts, this is all) and not all dishes are available (if I went, two main dishes I asked were...not available.) as well as the food I ordered was delicious. there are only two types of design beer, both not so good. prices are very cheap."

"Der Oberlaaer Dorfwirt war früher in Oberlaa und Umgebung bekannt für sein gutes Essen. Die Besuche in der jüngsten Vergangenheit enttäuschten uns, der letzte Besuch schlug dem Fass den Boden aus. Das Hühnerfilet mit Eierschwammerlsauce schmeckte nach gar nichts, lieblos gekocht und angerichtet - es hatte sich bereits eine Haut vom Stehen bei der Sauce gebildet. Der Schweinslungenbratenspieß bestand aus 4 kleinen Stücken Fleisch, dick mit Speck garniert und 3 winzig kleinen Dips. Wobei ich mir nicht sicher bin, ob 2 davon überhaupt selbstgemacht waren. Dazu fettige Pommes frittes. Der Spieß zu einem stolzen Preis von € 18,90. Nein danke, wir kommen nicht so schnell wieder!"
