"My colleagues and I attended this venue for a dear colleagues leaving lunch of soup and a sandwich. The soup was the worst I've tasted in years, absolutely no taste, even when we added salt and pepper! The Sandwiches were ok, although some of the filings were watered down. Staff were friendly and attentive, however when I voiced my opinion about the soup, I was told it would be passed on to the chef....Chef, if when you are cooking and you can't taste what you are serving out, then you aint a Chef! And they have a cheek to charge £3 for that soup. I wouldn't rush back and we certainly won't be having any more lunches here if we can help it."

"Yet again it has changed its name, only this time the standards have dropped considerably. In the last 3 years it has been Tapa Organic, Finestra, and now, Cook and Baker. In previous incarnations, the standards remained constant, but not now. I don't understand what has gone so wrong here, even the cycling clubs have abandoned it and moved 50 yards down the street. Now we have very slow service, disinterested staff and it appears to be pot luck with your order."
