"For a long time and every time I go to the canton, I choose to go to the restaurant in question. The garb with which the travellers welcome is very pleasant, the atmosphere makes the meal even more relaxing. ; On the board are suggested the dishes of the day, which is good to follow,otherwise à la carte it is appreciated to taste other meals proposed. today was suggested the deer to slices with mollic and chestnuts and various cooked vegetables. to drink the classic red label, but also the beer to the bar is fabulous, depends on the goi! to close vanilla ice cream, chestnuts and cream .in closing an Italian restricted coffee."

"Der Ochsen ist unter anderem bekannt für Fondue Chinoise (die Saucen sind super lecker!!!) und Gerichte auf dem heissen Stein. Es finden sich aber auf der Speisekarte noch viele weitere leckere Gerichte.Privat waren wir schon öfters hier und auch nach einem Firmenanlass habe ich die Gäste hier hin gebracht.Essen kann man nebst dem normalen Gastraum auch noch im Stübli, welches eher rustikal gehalten ist. Im Sommer kann man auch draussen sitzen. Für Raucher ist das Fumoir/ die Bar vorhanden.Der optische Eindruck von aussen könnte noch optimiert werden ;-)Und wer nicht durchs Fumoir gehen möchte, sollte den etwas versteckten Eingang zur Hauptstrasse hin benutzen.Der Pächterwechsel hat dem Lokal nicht geschadet. Das Essen ist wie immer hervorragend und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam."
